I was wondering the best place to turn to for the SRS refferal would it be my gp or the local sexual health clinic, as I want to ask for some hormones and to monitor my progress.

I would suggest you contact your gp first and get him to refer you toa specialist

It will not be an instant fix
So be prepard for lots of questions

I agree -- everything begins with your GP. Your GP will have your medical history and be able to monitor your vitals with the aforementioned knowledge in mind.

liamgibbins, you are going at it the right way for sure.

Your GP will do a history and will likely refer you to a pdoc who will give consent so you can go to an endocrinologist.

If you want more info ther is a sticky with a link to the Harry Benjamin site. This is the general guideline used by most of the doctors in the "western" world.

Whatever you do, dont put yourself at risk by self medicating and no, herbals do not work.
