Just a general question. Weather I buy size a,b,c,queen whatever evertime i bend at the waist my pantyhose roll. Is it the belly not huge, but have one, or what? I pull them up just above my belly button trying to control my top as it were. Dana

Switch to stockings and a garter belt or the self supporting stockings......our shape is not the same as a womans so the PH does roll downard!!

Genetic women commonly have the same problem. Keep trying different styles and sizes - they do fit differently and you may find a brand where the problem is minimized. It is not necessarily related to a big belly. (Actually I think I read somewhere that it has to do with the waist being too big rather than too small, but can't swear to that.)

Rolling is a problem and the belly doesn't help (I have one also), but unlike women I think our problem is worse because we don't have hips to help keep them up. I help keep them up by wearing my panties on the outside, when I wear panties. Also can feel the nylon much better.

Yeah and a damn nusiance too. That's why I very seldom wear them any more. I either wear socks or knee hi's with pants and lately have been wearing microfiber tights instead of pantyhose in the Winter with dresses or like this past Summer, I went bare legged most of the time. A lot cooler to say the least. Pays to listen to real women some times. Ericka/Rich

I just prefer PH myself. I have had no problems with them, and have gone to size B in the Leggs brand. My mom used to wear stockings, so I find them a real turn off, on GGs or CDs. Maybe I will give them a try someday, they are supposed to be traditional with a FM outfit anyway!! Hope all here, had a very nice holiday!!

I wear Just My Size Lasting Sheer or Light Support. They don't roll as bad as some of the other brands that I had worn.
Hope this helps.

I wear a Long line girdle with mine and it stops the rolling effect.:2c:

I solved the rolldown problem by choosing a size that's 1-2 sizes bigger than the weight/height chart indicates. The waist band comes up very high, above my belly roll, and is slanted inward at the top, minimizing the tendency to roll outward. The brand is JMS Lasting Shear. Works for me.

I have the same problem but I solved it by wearing a belt or tight fitting dress around the waiste. It holds the pantyhose in place. I also try and suck in my stomach when I need to bend over, it helps.

I used to wear pantyhose exclusively and never had that problem. Hope you find a solution.

Anyone ever try Hanes Solutions from Target? They are some of the best fitting hose I've ever worn. The waist band is almost non-existent and if you do get a little roll it isn't noticable. They stay up at the crotch and are comfy all day long. I love them and will buy more next time I get there. Wish they sold them online.

I enjoy wearing pantyhose/tights, but I also encounter that roll down problem. How i solved that is everytime I wear ph/tights I must wear a girdle plus a body shaper, I find if I just wear the girdle (depends on the girdle) it also rolls down too, but the body shaper helps keep everything right where it should.

why don't i just wear the body shaper then ? I guess force of habit, I've always worn a girdle then shaper, so I guess it is just habit.

I prefer Hanes Silk Reflections which I buy at the Factory Outlet stores in 3 packs. I prefer the reinforced toe, control top in Barely There size (curiously) CD. I don't have a problem with them staying up and they truly wear like iron! I can easily get a week or more out of a pair even doing physical work (wearing drab over my lingerie). I like the control top style-really isn't that restrictive like a snug pantygirdle (which I also like and wear with stockings). Try the SRs-they are the greatest -7 days a week most of the year.
