I always get read when I substitute skirts for women's pants. No problem, sometimes lowcut cords is what I wanna wear.
I'm at the grocery store ('hi, babe, howya doin'?') when, suddenly, some working-class dude starts looking at me. I'm wearing pink pants, lavender Converses, plum top, pink cardian, bracelet, boho earrings, got my makeup and hair (freshly dyed burgundy) high in 2 ponytails. And he says to me: 'Wow, I sure wish my hair would grow out like that!'
I was tempted to say, 'Shave all your body hair and you can' - but that wouldn't have been very ladylike, would it?
