I recently had a pretty bad rash on my stomach due to sensitive shaved skin rubbing my jeans. Ouch! It was very raw and really sore. On a whim really, a couple nights ago I broke off a large tip of an aloe vera plant and squeezed out the gooey insides all over the rash area. The next day the rash did look somewhat better BUT today, after 2 "treatments", it looks (and feels) so much better. The aloe vera seems to work so well; is this like, common knowledge and I'm last to know? lol Anyway, maybe it's worth passing along-seems to work for me! later girls, Olivia

I always get skin lotion with aloe and it seems to help me a lot. Aloe has been known for years to be helpful on minor scrapes and abrasions. Good for you to find this, wish I had an aloe plant near by. LOL Wilma

All natural remedies. I believe if you look in a library you may come across a few books on certain healing plants. Aloe is a real good one for skin rashes. Everything has it's use ;) Pass it on...

I have been useing Aloe Vera gel for a long time (I mentioned it in an earlier post), It really works well for me. I do not "glob" it on, just enough so it works in well. After it dries, your skin feels so smooth. Another plus, is that it is not that expensive.
Love,
Vickie

Wilma, you can grow the aloe vera plant in a pot indoors, other than the benefits of aloe vera, it makes an interesting plant to look at, kind of a conversation piece.
Love ya All,

I discoverd the magic of Vera a few years ago i keep several plants in the house and use the freash sap for all kinds of irritations and scratches. It is good also for razor burns and a good friend of mine uses it for his farmer Giles.
