Hi, girls!
Well, the Doobie sisters were all busy this weekend so I decided to take a trip to Rochester (MN) to visit my son and daughter-in-law. I was Stephanie the whole weekend I was there. I got a hotel room Friday afternoon and got dressed (new orange sweater and blue velvet skirt-see below) and went to the Apache Mall for a manicure at the City Looks Salon. It had been a few years since I had a nice salon manicure. It was wonderful!! I walked around the mall at the height of the shopping day! I really felt good!! People looked but no one bothered me. I got a little nervous once when a little girl (maybe 8 or 9) pointed at me and told her little brother to look. But as I walked by I noticed she was pointing at Santa Claus taking pictures with kids behind me. She never even looked at me!! More interested in Santa than Stephie!! So much for paranoia!!
The next day my son and I visted my Daughter-in-law at the bead shop wear she works. I was wearing my jeans and purple turtleneck T. It was fun to chat with her and she even introduced me to her boss. Everyone was very friendly. Got a picture there too with Tracy. We then went to a movie (see picture with Jeremy (Casino Royale--Daniel Craig is a great Bond!! I've seen it three times so far!!).
For dinner I took us all out to a fancy restaurant where I could wear my new purlple and plack slinky top with my chiffon black skirt and black blazer. I felt gorgeous! We chatted the night away and had the waitress take a picture of us. I feel so comfortable being Stephanie around my kids. They are so loving and supportive. We laughed all night!!
