My girlfriend and I want to take me out dressed in NYC. We're only 20 so bars are out sadly. I was looking at Lips down in the village, it looks like a fun place to go. Any other suggestions for under-21 clubs, TG friendly/drag restaurants, etc in NYC?

Try Lucky Cheungs. It's campy but fun. Foods decent as well. I also think there is a Mexican Place on 14th St where all the staff is in drag. I can,t remember the name.

From what i've heard lucky chengs is pretty much just a tourist trap and Lips is a lot better (but still touristy).

Any idea what the ratio of tourist diners to TV/CD diners at these places is?

I need some more information about your plans. Are you looking to go to dinner or are you just going to hang out? I would strongly advise going to Lips over Lucky Cheungs to go out to eat. However, Lips is not really a place to hang out. What night of the week are we talking about? Most of the time, I think you would be OK in clubs, if you do not drink alcohol. Have you considered the December 9th party at Triangles in Danbury, CT. It's most likely going to be a Friday night. Dinner is fine but if not no big deal. I'm just looking to go somewhere preferably populated by other TVs and CDs in a relaxed setting. And obviously I'm not looking to take anyone home, lol

Hi Sammy,
If you go out on a Friday night, I would advise not going to the party at the CK Bar. From what I have heard, it caters mostly to she males that do not like crossdressers.
