Got my new wig today...

Well, a few weeks ago I went to a local salon that was recommended by a member of a CDing group around here. The woman that owns the place (I think) was great. She didn't have many wigs in stock, just a few demos, but they were enough to get the idea across. She had swatches and we spent about an hour determining which style and color would suit me best. Fast forward to today...I went to pick it up. It needed a bit of cutting since the bangs (yes, it has bangs) were a bit too long. She trimmed them and thinned them out and it looks great. Its a bit too long in the back though...but I'm not sure if I'm going to get it cut any.

great look with the new hair.....if that is a real hair wig dont cut it, as it is you can do lots of styles with it, you have have it down or put it up

I stopped by a wig shop the other day, but I was in drab mode. The lady had me try it on with my t-shirt, etc., and of course it didn't look all that great. I asked her if it would be OK if I stopped by dressed as a woman to try it on again with makeup and a different outfit, and she said that would be fine. I'm looking forward to going by there again soon.

Awww, thanks everybody! I think it looks much more realistic than my other wigs in person. Its not real human hair, but it is a synthetic with varying color on some of the strands. It feels much better on my head than my other wigs though.

I was shopping for a light to medium brown wig, fairly long, but instead I found a long black wig with red highlights. I think it made me look quite sexy. I can't wait to try it on with some of my outfits.
