I notice a lot the girls here tend to favour one side of their face/body when having a photo taken.

Why is that?

I must admit I prefer the left profile shot. My face-on shots don't produce a good image with my ugly mug!

So lodge a vote and provide an explanation please!

I just like any pictures of people from the right hand side.
Like I like ice-skating anti-clockwise and most auto races are anti-clockwise. I enjoy left hand corners on the motorbike bike to right handers...

I can't say I've thought about it...usually the confines of the room I'm in and the light dictates the shot, and how I position myself. I maybe prefer posing a bit more with my right side to the camera, but hey, I am right handed!!!

I hadn't thought about it until last year when my stylist noted that most of my pix were taken left profile. I am just more comfortable in that position.

Usually the left side 3/4 semi profile, but thats just because the lighting in the room I usually use for my photos favors that position.

Most of the photos I have are full front features, the side ones just look bad to me.
