Last night would be a good example. At 6pm I jumped in the tub and started shaving and showering. I am a bit scattered and jump from task to task. For example I might worry over my outfit for a bit, then paint my toes, start the makeup...worry again and try on outfits...then perhaps spend 15 minutes brushing my wig while watching TV. Goes on and on, esp when I try on like 6 outfits like last night. Finally at 8:45 I was reasonably happy with makeup, wig and outfit and left my place.

Time expired 2 hours 45 minutes. :tongueout

Usually about 1/2 hour to an hour, depending on what I'm wearing (especially in regards to eye makeup).

I wake up, take a bubble bath, put on my bra and panties and I'm ready for the world. I don't do a lot of make up and I'm always in shorts and a colorfull top. So I guess that would make it about an hour in the tub and get dressed.
That is, if the tub counts.

It takes me 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get ready. That includes bath, leg shaving, face shaving, getting dressed, makeup, styling my oun hair, fake long finger nails, and picking out what to put in my purse.:2c:

Hi,
I'm pretty organized, so I'd say about from shower/shave (face, body, & legs) to walking out the door.....about 1.5 hours...
Take Care..

From stepping in the shower to shave till finished, I would say 45 Minutes to 1 hour.

When I started my two week vacation it took me about 1 1/2 hours to get everything the way I wanted it. By the time we got to Jackson Hole on out trip I was down to less then half an hour.
Practice helps.

... go ... nope, too slow!

It takes me way too long - I'd much prefer instant!

In reality, hmmm, maybe 1hr including shower/shave legs, makeup, clothes etc.

I think I'm pretty fast but I supsect the results reflect the speed - maybe should take more time :heehee:

About 1/2 hour from shaving to out the door. Of course, everything is laid out ahead of time which saves some time. A magic word like "Mighty Isis" to turn instantly into a "femme fatale" would be preferable. On the other hand, anything worthwhile is usually well worth the effort. Ericka Kay

About 90 minutes. It actually could be done in less time (probably 45 minutes if I just blasted through it), but I absolutely HATE to rush. I very much enjoy the transformation process itself. Why hurry it?

I have done it in under an hour, start to finish, but I prefer to take longer. Usually 1.5 hours is good. Take a good relaxing time with the shaving of my legs in the tub, gets me in the zone. I already have my arms done with the eppilator. Then a good face shaving and on to the make-up. Those parts I have not really cut down the speed on. The make-up on the other hand takes 20-40 minutes instead of over an hour.

About an hour and a half, excluding body shaving. I usually do my body shaving the day before I intend to go out.
The longest single task is attaching and painting my plastic nails. No way to get around that right now.
I enjoy the act of dressing, part of the thrill of CDing for me.

I agree with some of the other girls, the longer the better, I love the transformation process. 90 mins is about my average.

In the summer it's step into a pair of sandals, pull the straps over my heels, then throw the dress over my head and pull it down, then put on the purse, and I'm out a here. It can be done in less than a minute.

In the winter it might take as much as five extra minutes to put on the pantyhose, if I discover a run in the ones I put on first.

Jodi Lynn

It all depends what and where I am going or doing. any where from 15 minutes for just around the house or a quick trip to the store. Up to 90 minutes to make myself look really good for a night out.

I always figure on about an hour. Sometimes it's less than that.

It takes me a couple of days so by the time i'm ready i have to go to work.
Just kidding i wiuld say about 20 mins are so maybe longer on so days.

It all depends on how much magic is needed to put on 'my face.' Sometimes, I can get ready in 45 minutes from shower to out the door. Unfortunately, it usually takes more like 90 minutes unless I'm going a meeting of the visually challenged society.

I think around a half hour, but the better I get at make up and what ever it seems to takes me longer:mad:

30-45 mins. max, that includes showering and shaving , I can have my out-fit that I will wear that day pre hung-up , so its just a grab-n-go, the thing that takes the longest for me is my hair.

Bernadina
12-03-2006, 09:13 PM
For the once a month or so that I get a chance to fully dress its a several day process.

Got to choose the outfit first. Then nails done. Toe nails ahead of time. Hair, trim, get rid of etc.

On the actual day I allow three hours.

I find the transformation experience is as rewarding as the actual going out dressed.

Why spoil the fun by rushing it?

There was a time when it would take up to anywhere between 3.5 and 4.5 hours when I wasn't so experienced with make-up etc. Now I have it down to around 1.5 hrs from scratch to applying nails before I walk out the door. I must admit though I have been known to take longer as I really do enjoy the transformation process from make-up to selecting an outfit.

More than an hour. Part is due to my inexperience, part is due to trying to look perfect, part is the damn phone keeps ringing

JoAnnDallas
12-05-2006, 03:13 PM
well it depends on what I already have on. Like tomorrow morning I will get up and put panties and bra on under my clothes, shave, and so forth. Then when the wife leaves for her water arobics, I will then change into a blouse and either capries or jeans. Put some foundation on, lipstick, and my wig. All total mabey 10 minutes, 15 max.

Nornally about 30-45 min. It is so rare that I get to go out that any trip I make has been planned well in advance. From garter and stockings to dress and shoes. I don't have to wast time making decisions. I want to get ready and spend as much time out as I can. :hugs:

Takes me about 3 hours including shaving. I don't know if others have the same issue, but I really need about 1 1/2 to 2 hours after the 3 hours to get ready, for my makeup to "settle in and fill all the pores. Another dusting of powder then I'm really ready to go.
