Not this kid Naomi. I have my own style. If I went and got pampered, I'd lose my "edge"as a tomboy and probably get spoiled. They are stuck with me as is. I know others have done it though and they say they enjoy it. I'm just wondering if the cost is worth it? Maybe some day, I'll see for myself and find out. Ericka Kay

I have had a massage, had makeup/makeover at Merle Norman & at the Estee Lauder counter at a local department store.
I feel like I am getting pampered every time I get my nails done & my brows waxed.

I've done a "spa day" a couple of times. Last time, I got a facial, manicure, pedicure, eye brows waxed and a massage. Great day!

Of course, it helps to have a friend who is the manager of a local Salon/Spa. :)

I just had to have a wig with a certain style. NO wigs are made the way I wanted. After numerous phone calls I found a salon who would take on the project. I went in and talked to them. They had to order the wig. When it came in, I went in for 3 different sittings to get it styled correctly. It was a lovely experience.

i was on vacation a couple of months ago and decided to start it off with a spa day. Had a manicure/pedicure, facial, waxing, massage and reflexology.
Let me just say that as I was laying on the massage table I thought to myself "I can't remember the last time I felt this relaxed"! When all was said and done, I felt like I had been on vacation for three days already.
I highly recommend a spa day for anyone.

I can do my own makeup still learning however, an I have had a make over, I think I know why women go an have others do their hair, nair Ect. It can get expencive, but in my eye nothing like sitting there an letting someone else work on you , an chatting the time away, getting to know others an just having fun. :GE:

girls, if you've never had a parisianne peel, or any other form of dermal abrasion, seek out a plastic surgeon in your area and go. They don't give it away, but it will be the most relaxing hour you've spent in your life, and you come away with baby-soft skin! And....they just love male patients, so you don't need to worry about what gender you are presenting if that's an issue for you! Go and be pampered while getting your skin renewed!

Once a month, I go to my nail solan for two hrs of pampering. I get a outstanding pedicure along with a manicure, fill/replacement if needed, toe nail polish and eyebrows waxed/plucked.

Funny thing happen last Friday. Wife was holding one of the cats and said "Daddy is going to the nail salon tomorrow to get pampered. Daddy is prettier than Mommy". Wife says the weridest things to the cats.

Haven't gone to a salon, but it is on my New Year's resolution list.

i had a great time at Merl Normans. They let me change in their bathroom. Got my makeover and a little hair advice and went shopping en femme in the nearby mall. Great day.

YES, I go every few months for a facial, manicure/pedicure. I also get my back waxed from the same spa and a few months ago I got a set of gel nails. I just love to be pampered and the ladies at the spa I go to are just great.

The werid part is, I'm treated no different than any of the GG's and the GG's don't seem to care that I'm getting the same treatments or that I'm getting my toes painted. This last time, the GG next to me looked when Tina started painting my toes and said "Nice Color". I thanked her and that was the only response.

Once. Last year, for my first real time out, I went to a salon for a make-over before meeting a GG friend for lunch. It was quite a treat. I'd definitely recommend it.

Pedicures and make-overs. The pedicures are so spoiling. My pedicurist always has something for me to drink (hot tea or some other beverage) and sometimes something to eat. She keeps trying to talk me into a facial. And I just may take her up on it someday.

Every time that I go out dressed, I have my makeup done at a salon. I have about 5 different salons that I go to at various times. The cost varies from $15 to $30, and I love it! I get my wig styled (usually) as well as nail polish and shaping. I have never mastered the art of makeup, so this way I get to be pampered for a little while and get a good job of makeup application done. The women are very nice and it is a fun relaxing hour or so.
