Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has tried any of the virtual makeover sites on the web? I found one at http://www.beautyriot.com/instant_makeover.php (I hope I am not breaking any rules by posting this). I found this was a really neat way to experiment a little even when I can't do it for real. If anyone knows any better please let me know.

I have had lots of fun with them

iVillage (http://beauty.ivillage.com/0,,9jlxfdd5,00.html?ice=iv%257cbs%257cmom,lnavhots tuff)

and

MakeoverSolutions (http://www.makeoversolutions.com/)

They are both roughly the same, but can purchase from Makeover Solutions for a ton more options. Was worth it in my opin.

This is the best one I found so far. It is Maybelline New York Makeup Studio. If you use your own picture, it takes awhile for it to be put on your profile. After I uploaded my picture it said it may take 24 hours to be prepared, but it was there in an hour or a little less, I just kept checking until it was there. You also have to us Internet explorer, the Fire Fox browser does not work with the site. It also has makeup how to videos on the bottom left corner of your profile. You can switch between the videos and your studio. It only has makeup no hair styles.

I don't think there is any software package out there that can help me. I probably "break" the damn thing. Being a "hard luck" case and all. It's hopeless, I tell you--hopeless! Ericka Kay
