I will be traveling to Las Vegas tomorrow and I am taking my clothing of choice with me. Along with this, I have MAKE-UP to take with me and I do not want to check baggage. All of my toiletries fit in to a quart size make but the make-up makes a second. Have any of you experience this??????
I will also use this trip as a birthday gift to myself. It’s been a long time since I was out. No I really do not pass but I think that what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I have also researched the place.

I went to San Fransico in September and with all my feminine clothes I found that I needed a whole suitcase so I just checked it. Fortunately, the airlines did not lose my bag! I can imagine explaining the contents if it had been lost.

In a carry on any liquid has to be 3 oz or less and in a Ziploc bag. They might still pull it out to look at it which could be embarrassing. You would be better off just checking a small bag with your make up in it, still in a ziploc bag.

Check a bag and save yourself the grief.
Also, when you get there, the MAC Cosmetics store in Caesar's Forum shops is TERRIFIC. Ask for Liz and tell her I said hi!

I believe the signs say 1 baggie per passenger.
I just flew into Dulles in Washington, DC and I checked all my fem things with baggage check. I carried on my laptop case and my purse. I forgot I had a small tube of hand lotion in my bag, BUT surprisingly it made it through the xray and sensors without causing any disruption.

Jenna is correct ONLY 1 BAGGIE per person. So put your makeup in the checked baggage.

When we traveled recently, my wife had all sorts of stuff besides make-up loosely packed. Nothing was said.
It depends on the airport, I guess.

My rule of thumb - - if I don't want it waved around for all to see, it goes into checked baggage!!!!! I also have a peeve with people that cram really big and heavy bags into the overhead. Years ago it started with coats and hats - - my masc hat was crushed a lot by overhead baggage stuffing - - and now people too lazy or who think they are too rushed to use baggage check in stuff anything and everything into the overhead. I have been hit with such baggage many times as they have been dragged out after arrival.
