Ho ho ho ladies. This is the season to buy yourself everything your little heart desires, with no embarassment. Just ask for a gift receipt. Or even have it gift wrapped.

My thoughts exactly. I like the expression when the holiday temp SA (i.e. not very experienced) asks me if I want I gift receipt and I respond "no, I think I like it" and wink. :)

I already scheduled a day off from work just for shopping, now I just need something to buy.

I am becoming more and more comfortable with in store shopping for femme gear. I always ask for a gift receipt or a gift box. With Christmas season, it is really easy to just go straight to the Misses section and look for what I want.
Still buy shoes exclusively on line and have had reasonable success with fitting.

It dosen't bother me to just go in and buy anything I want. I am very Male looking and don't hesitate to venture into the Female section of any store. WHO CARES!!!
I was shopping yesterday and looking at sweaters. Instead of asking for a gift receipt, I asked if I could try it on. The SA said "sure, I'll start you a room". You don't need Christmas for that.

It is a great time for shopping, but I think that almost anytime is a great time for shopping. Anyway, "Merry Christmas!"

Ah shopping... christmas is a great excuse to go shopping. I've gotten quite a few things for ''My Kid Sister'' the last few days and it's been a lot of fun!

Happy Holiday shopping, everyone!
Whatever shall I do? I have so many teenage nieces to buy gifts for. Good thing they all love lipstick & nailpolish. :heehee:

I bought what was called a secretary's blouse (black)from Torrid's (a division of Lane Bryant). They were very helpful, but still didn't get it until they asked if I wanted a gift receipt. I politely said no, and said I know I'll like it and it looks like it will fit as I held it up to my shoulders. I'm going back next week for a belt on that is on order. Can't wait!!

I just purchased two dresses that were being clearanced for $19.99 each. Since I had already tried them on in the dressing room, I knew they would fit. When the SA asked if I wanted a gift receipt I replied: "No, they fit me just fine." She smiled at me and said "I'm sure they'll look good on you." At least some SAs are fine with men buying and wearing women's clothing. It made my day!

I once returned a dress that didn't fit. The saleslady asked me if there was anything wrong with it. I just said, "no, we broke up before I could give it to her". No problem
