Howdy. I read of all the great times most of you have had, going out. Can any of you share some times dressing up, and going out, that were disasters, or duds? My second time outside, driving, a cop pulled me over-not fun!. Lucille

I have never really had a disaster; I have been pointed at or snickered at a few times but I just considered those actions to be rude. I expect someday I could have a bad experience.

One of the first few times I was out dressed, around 1.00 in the morning, I had a flat tire.

Flat tires aren't really a big deal, but by the time I had opened the trunk, I had already had two guys stop and ask if they could help.

The third guy wouldn't take "no thanks" for an answer; he changed my tire for me. I was not too sure about his state of sobriety, since even when he finished up changing the tire, he wanted to stick around for a little "conversation". At 1.30 in the morning. In January, in Minnesota.

What finally got him going? A state patrol vehicle passed by -- slowly. The guy was suddenly in a hurry to "get out of there".

i went to visit another tv in her office and was dressed way too sexy for a day outing, black shorts with black hose and platform sandals, got some smirks in the elevator, so what, went out again anyway in an area that accepts us girls and had fun

In the very early days of me going out, myself and another Tgirl after clubbing went to a Waffle House (a grill/diner type chain here in the South). We got looks and stuff in the resturant, but no biggie there. But when we left about 10 guys were just coming in and one of them started harrashing us. They were between us and my friends car. Luckily one of the guys told the guy harrashing us to knock it off. So we moved along, but it was scary for a minute.

I was driving to work one early morning, it was still dark out, while I was putting on my lipstick in traffic the car in front of me hit the brakes, I didnt see the car stop until the very last second- too late!! I rear ended the car in front of me. Airbags released, windshield shattered, front end of my car was crumbled. I was stunned for a few seconds after the airbags released and at first I thought I had died in drag. My hair was messed up, my blouse torn, and my pantyhose ripped. When I realized what had happened their was a knock on my window. It was the guy I had hit, I got out of the car and we exchanged information, he was pretty cool but I was a mess. Fortunately the police didnt come and my car was still running so I pushed the airbags back in the best I could and drove home. That was my most expensive outing disaster!

Not as an adult......I've never had a problem with anyone, anywhere...

But as a teenager, in high school, I use to dress in the basement when everyone was asleep... And I didn't own a wig so I pinned curlers to my semi longish hair.... The basement had a set of steps to the outside so I snuck out quietly into the back yard.... skirt and blouce, pantyhose, shoes.....minimul makeup. The cold night air and/or the excitement made me shiver.. It was probably 11 pmish..

So decided to take a stroll around the block and was really enjoying myself.... I got about as far as I wanted to and headed back the other way on a side street. About half way back I could see headlight getting brighter from a car coming up behind me.... I started to panic.. As the car got closer and closer....all of a suden I bolted through a side yard and down through the back yards between the houses towards my house... Skirt and curlers flying every where...

Bet I broke the 4 minute mile that night and never figured out who's car it was but in a small farming village everyone knows everyone else... I made it back to the basement and colapsed from the run and the excitement!! Surprised I didn't wake anyone in the house!!

That was my scariest time out enfemme and it was my first time out and btw my last time out for a long long long time. Lol

HHmm, cant say that I've really have had a true disaster, but I have been pulled over wearing my pink top , summer of 2004, for speeding , the cop let me off with a warning, a rare thing these days!!!!!

I haven't had any real disasters yet, by any stretch. I've come close a few times though. One time when I still lived with my parents I was fully en femme and downstairs watching tv, when my family suddenly returned home 2 hours early and very much unexpectedly.

I tried to run out of the living room and upstairs, but half way to the stairs I tripped (wasn't as proficient in heels back in those days) and turned my ankle really badly. So now I can hear the dogs barking at the door, and my family greeting them, and here I am literally crawling up the stairs in 3" heels, a red dress, and full makeup. Fortunately I just made it into my room and shut the door as my siblings came up the stairs.

It may have turned out fine (I have a pretty cool family), but I was scared sh*tl*$$. *lol*

Not really a "disaster" but it surprised the heck out of me. True story:

My first outing in public was at the Bellagio Hotel in Vegas. I was there attending a convention. "Steve", a very good friend and former law partner of mine, was attending the same convention - in fact, we had dinner and drinks together just the evening before. I knew Steve was staying in the hotel, but I skipped the afternoon part of the convention and figured there would be no problem. If worst came to worst and I saw him on the casino floor, I figured I'd recognize Steve long before he recognized me and I would just avoid him.

So after working up the courage, I got into the elevator and pushed the lobby button. A couple people got into the elevator on lower floors, paying me no mind whatsoever. "So far so good", I think. The door opened at the main level and I step outside...and very nearly run into Steve, who is patiently waiting for an elevator.

I sort of hurried past him and gave a sideways glance to see if he looked back. He did not (at least not that I noticed). The good news is that I was so stunned--and then so freaked out--it was fully a minute or two before it occurred to me exactly how brightly lighted and CROWDED a casino floor is. By the time I had figured that out, I had also figured out that (1) hundreds of people had already seen me en femme and (2) the world had not come to an end.

So I guess it had a happy ending!

Disaster No Was A bit nervous Yes

Two Stories...

First: One time after work I went to a corner parking space of a shopping mall to change from guy to girl. I was halfway done and all of a sudden I had 3 sets of bright lights headed right for me. They were 3 police crusiers. I put on my dress and wig, they asked what I was doing and ran my ID threw the computers and then sent me on my way.

Second: I was involved in an minor auto accident while dressed. The other driver came to my window and asked if she could use my cell. While she was talking to her husband, he asked how she was calling him. The lady said she was using the other ladies cell phone. So we looked at the damage and were waiting for her husband to come and then we were going to decide to just exchange info or call the police. Just then a crusier passed by and stopped. I believed I passed until I had to give him my licence and reg. All worked out he gave me her info, told me he wasn't giving me a ticket and to have a nice day.

Sunday at the mall - HAD to go to the ladies room - not a problem have done it numerous times before, but never at this mall. I entered a stall, lowered my jeans, padded girdle and panties, sat down and proceeded with my need.

THEN, someonr went into the stall next to me, slammed their door, and my door started to open OUT and AWAY from me. No way I could reach it from my seat. As it opened I could see there was a lady standing across from my stall at a sink and mirror applying lipstick. I could see her face in the mirror so she must've seen my door open, but she didn't offer to help.

So, I had to rise into a crouch with my jeans and panties around my thighs, step out to the door and pull it closed. Sat back down finished up, but before I was done the lady in the adjacent stall exited and guess what, yes, she slammed her door open, and my door once again opened. Lipstick lady was still there, but I was quicker this time and didn't have to go as far. Pulled it shut, turned my back to the door and finished dressing.

The door never opened again, of course. I washed my hands and exited the lavatory. Never so scared of exposure in my life.

Once went out to a T friendly club. A friend returned a movie I had loaned here and I took it out to the car. On the way, A guy asked me if I would go out with him. I very politely told him "Thank you, and I'm flattered, but I'm also married so not".
When I came back out to my care at 2AM I had once flat tire and another with a very clear knife cut in it. (Guess someone interrupted him while flattening my second tire).
The good news - this was at 'Bout Time in Austin and they took very good care of me. Considering it was the first time I had worn a Mini Dress, and it was 30 degrees outside, you cant imagine how grateful I was.
So - it got ugly but in the end everything worked out!

Probably the hardest time I have ever had was when I thought I was going to visit the Omniplex Science Museum in Oklahoma City. I should have known better when I saw 30 school busses parked outside, lettered for the Enid Oklahoma shcool district. I had elementary school children laughing and pointing and taking pictures and asking me if I was gay, and I was able to last for about an hour and a half before retreating.

I don't know if I qualify, since I am always 'out', but I was run in to jail with some freinds who got to boisterous in 1977, Austin Tx. The poor DPS guys didn't know what to do with me, they didn't want to put me in with the guys, or the girls, finally, I spent the night in an interrogation room with both a male and a female deputy. Talk about overkill! I was dresses sexily, but did they think they couldn't trust either deputy to be alone with me? All night across from two Texas state cops in their black Naziesque uniforms, I think I shivered for seven or eight hours!

This was back in the '70's.

I was in a T bar on a Ladies' night in Los Angeles. There were two lady bartenders, a few GG's some guys, and me en femme. One of the guys wanted to slow dance, so we were dancing and chatting, when in walks a guy, tells everybody to do what he says and no one gets hurt. His sidekick was standing guard at the door.

He lines us up at the bar and tells everyone to lay their wallets on the bar. I was scared, but panicked at the thought of him possibly blackmailing me...(in hindsight, he wouldn't have remembered whose wallet belonged to whom, and only interested in valuables anyway). So, I didn't put my wallet on the bar. He scooped up the others and ordered us all into the men's room, then made their getaway. It was one of the few times I'd seen the inside of the men's room:D.

Had a friday off, Went to the state fair in a nice western outfit. Boots, Skirt, Western shirt. Visiting the Automobile building whre all the new autos are shown a few teenagers read me and began to follw me around. Eventually one ran up and grabbed my wig and threw it on the ground. Leaving me exposed. I picked up the wig and headed to a corner of the exhibition and readjusted

Considering how long I've been doing this, I've had only a couple of scarry incidents.

Back in about 1978, when I first moved out on my own, I was just getting up my nerve to go out fully en femme. I don't remember what I was wearing. I know I had rolled my bra-strap lenth hair and I was wearing makeup. My "thing" then was to go to convenience stores and buy a Coke or something, drive around 'till I had my courage up again and repeat the process at another store.

I had made about 3 stops at stores in a pretty small area and was just about to make another. I looked in my rear view mirror as I pulled in to the lot and saw a police car. When I pulled into a parking space in front of the store, they parked directly behind me, obviously to block me in. At the same time I see the cashier locking the door (this was late at night, but well within normal business hours). I was trapped! The cashier (while turning the key in the lock) looked at me, and I must have had a pitiful and pleading look on my face. She turned the key the other way and motioned for me to come in. I did, walked up to the counter and asked for a pack of Virginia Slims. She looked at the cop and motioned for them to leave. She kept looking at them while she was taking my money, and a couple more times waved them on their way. They finally pulled ahead at about the same time I left the store. I immediately got on the Interstate. They followed me until I was well out of town.

Scarred me to death! I don't know what motivated that lady to unlock that door and wave the police on. Thank God for her! Best I can figure, the store I stopped at prior to that one must have called the police. The police must have called her when they could tell I was pulling in and told her to lock the door. Whew!

Although I was crossdressed when this happened, I suspect it was caused by me being nervous when I went in to these stores. Then when the cops saw me going from one store to another they probably thought I was getting my nerve up to rob them.

Although I keep my cars in good running condition, I have often thought about the flat tire issue. One of my cars(the one I always use for my femme outings) is an SUV with the spare tucked up under the back. There is no way I'm gonna try to wrestle with that tire while en femme. GGs would call their SO or the AAA, right? I am a AAA member, but under my drab name, of course. I wonder what the AAA policy on this is. HMMMMM.

I guess the closest I have come to a bad outting was going to meet a sister from work one afternoon. Changed on the side of a lonely road, and then went to the Home Depot parking lot across the street from our meeting place to put on my makeup. BAD MOVE !!!! Every horny male in the city was there buying lumber and wanted to wave or talk or oogle the blond in the parking lot. I finally got my face on and made my meeting, The rest of the afternoon was wonderful.

I live in a medium-sized village and occasionally I venture out at night. On one occasion I was walking through the village centre where there are a couple of pubs and some shops. There were quite a few people walking past but there are few lights, so no problem.

And then a car stops and the driver asks me for directions! Bearing in mind I had never even considered the possibility of engaging in conversation, I think my voice was rather good. I said something like: "Sorry, I'm afraid I don't know".

I think the driver was convinced but as he drove off I heard a couple of girls laughing. They may have been sharing a joke - or they could have spotted my face in the headlights!

But who cares? Going out looking like a rather attractive woman is an amazing experience. Who knows, maybe one day I'll be ready to go out in broad daylight....

Kisses, Christine

My worst experience came just 6 weeks ago. I had just left a tg friendly bar and ran into a snow storm about 10 miles out of town. Well my truck slid down the road and then roller over two times and landed on it's wheels. I was dressed in jeans and a nice sweater with my 4in high heel boots on. I tried to get out but the drivers door was jamed. So i put the truck in 4 wheel drive and got out of the ditch.. The only problem was that I had blowen the right rear tire. It was snowing like crazy and very dark, so i drove on the flat untill I came to a country bar. I didn't even know where I was. I went in the bar to ask for a flash light The bar tender ask me if I was allright I told him that I was but had a flat Tire. I then went out and changed the tire in the snow storm. Not easy in heels. Any way I made it home what a night.

I was walking through a dark parking lot going to GNO meeting. I was dressed to the limit. I had to pass a group of 5 or 6 guys standing aroung a guy laying on the ground. It was easy to tell he had been beatup pretty good. The whole bunch turned and looked at me. To my great dismay one of them made me. Oh what noise they made. Now my red belt in Tae Kwon Do makes me quite a handful in a street fight.I was able to keep on walking and get away from trouble. Now its only well lighted parking lots and streets for me.
I would much rather be made by a bus load then go through that again

One of the first times I went out on a dress and drive I was running low on gas and I thought I could make it back to my place to change and get gas. I did not have confidence to stop and get gas! Ya, you guessed it, I ran out of gas.....and I was about 3 miles from home. What could I do, no clothes to change into (I now have overalls in the trunk to change into if I need to).

Thankfully, two guys in a vw van stopped to offer help before I got out. I thought, OMG, should I use my untried female voice that has a habit of cracking. I got out and in my male voice told them I ran out of gas and asked them for a ride home. They were very nice and did not seem to care about what I was wearing. (Above the knee jean skirt and white blouse with dark stockings and black 4" pumps, make up and new wig) It was not out of their way and they gave me a lift to my door. In the few minutes that it took, they did ask several questions but did not say or do anything to make me feel uncomfortable. They offered to take me back, I told them they had done enough, thanked them and they were gone.

This was not a disaster as it turned out great. The best thing is that it gave me confidence to start going out in public. Thanks guys!

Things happen, good or bad, to me for a reason so I just have fun out there!

Mine was more of an almost disaster. My wife took me away to a hotel for the weekend and hd bought me some new underwear, packed my make up and wig. We had a nice meal and were just in the room about to start dressing together - as the fire alarm sounded and the staff were banging on the door. Five minutes later I would have had full make up on and sexy lingerie to stand outside with a wedding party! We stood there giggling at what might have been. I wouldn't have looked convincing so would have been horrified. Instead I was in drab with panties under my jeans and a bra. A close shave
