Finally, after about 5 years of secretly cross dressing ,I got up the courage one evening and dressed fully and then went out in Toronto for my first time.
To my complete surprise no one seemed to take notice of me which I took to be a positive sign that I was obviously not out of place. To my added delight I could not believe how wonderful it felt to feel the cool spring breeze rush up my short skirt.Would love to hear from others on their first experience out.

I have to say this, but going out is additive. You will find yourself going out more and more. The feel good feeling also increases each time you go out. Now that you have made the transistion, doesn't it feel great.

It is definately a different experience out of the home and into the world at large. You start to see (and feel) things in a whole different light. You notice stairs, the wind, how hair flows in wind, and a whole host of new delights. Take it one step at a time and enjoy the new horizons that open up. Some even stay with you when you are not dressed! Awareness is wonderful!

stories like this help me think I MUST do it. The girls who pluck up courage have my admiration. Perhaps tomorrow!

Not counting my first drunken misadventures in Tampa FL during the 80s, I recall walking downtown Portland ME (it had been a break of many years) feeling like I owned the world.

I hear Taronto is a very friendly place. Haven't made it ther yet but it's only a question of time!
