Hi all, Saw the recent thread on epilators and culled lots of great info and have been shopping.
Came across some Emjoi Tweeze models but did not see any reviews of these here.
Has anyone used this one. Any advice is greatly appreciated!! :D
Thanks, Beth

My wife bought me a sin dolor for facial hair...but don't kid yourself they all hurt, just according to your tolerance for pain...but you know what they say...no pain no gain...you can check it out @ emjoi.com:2c:

I ordered one of this Emjoi's - should have received it by now. I am very curious about using this on my face.
Is your beard thick?
My beard hairs are very thick and it hurts like hell to pull them out. But the other day I went crazy and while listening to this conference call from work I got so bored, that I started tweezing my upper lip. The result is that after two weeks I still look great and a few hairs are starting to come back out and pulling them again while they are little does not hurt nearly as much.
But I am very scared about what I have read on other threads about the hairs becoming ingrown. I guess I will know soon how much this will affect me! Have you had any other negative side effects?

I recommend the emjoi optima. A little pricey at about 100 bucks but it worked with no problems whatsoever. It even took out my beard as well, though it hurt a lot.

Been using an Epilady for two months and just started getting ingrown hairs on my upper leg. I have been removing them and using a defoliating sponge. My legs were looking great but not now.:(

I also went with an epilator about the first of December. It took a long time to get all of the hair. That was not the real problem. The hair started to grow just under the top layer of skin. When I would get them out with tweezers, It would irritate my skin. I ended up with red spots all over my legs.
I went back to shaving a week ago and my jegs have cleared up.
