choices in eye lashes

currently just using mascara however I am looking to improve my eyelashes to make them look more prominent. I would appreciate comments and advice from more experienced girls.

Use a coat of clear mascara under black or brown top coat, gives much fuller look without the clumping

I've always had a proble with lashes. Mascarra doesn't help other than making them darker. It does help to bring some bottom lashes out, but they're invisable normally. I'd like help here too.
