And would you believe it in Southern WV!!! Yeah! Its been a grueling trip of 15 hour days at the mines and then dressing in the evenings....all with 28 coworkers staying all around me. Tuesday night we got here late then at so by the time I dressed it was realy late......went out for a soada and it was raining. But took lots of pics and movies.... Which I uploaded till my laptop started acting up.

So Wednesday night I was even later...washed 3 wigs and played with makeup, took a few photos and went to bed at 1am.... But tonight after working from 6 am till 9 pm then exersizing for half an hour and showering....to get all the coal dust out of my pores.....I decided to get prettied up, and had passed on the group dinner (again) so after a bunch came back from the resturant I took off with the car, and got gas....went into the minimart and got a diet coke..

Then since there's really no where else to shop I went to their 24 hour walmart....ans spent 2 hours pushing a cart around the store, looking, trying on shoes and a skirt, just enjoying myself!! And what really amazed me that for midnight, the store had a lot of people in it! And everyone I passed and all the SA's smiled and said hi!! Still can't believe it......end up buying some makeup, a snack (I'm starving here. Lol) and a magazine.

And when I got in line to check out, the lady in the line infront of me smiled and said she loved my dress!! Thought I was going to faint!! The clerk checked me out and asked if I found everything I wanted and I answered her in my normal voice....maybe a little bit quieterish... So as I left the store the greeter wished me a good evening....

Well its late so I headed back to the hotel but stoped at an alnight McD's and got a small shake.... The guys behind the counter were looking my way and smiling so I gave them a big smile back! And the cashier got real chatty....talked about the weather and then wished me a happy holiday and come back soon and see us!!!

WOW!! I sure will!! Hehehe

So parked the car at the hotel and headed in through the front door.... past the clerk who was sitting at the front dest, and over to the elevator and up to my floor!! I took a few photos along the way including some in walmart, with the flash off!... "Why's that lady taking pictures of herself holding up a bra?". Lol. I'll try to upload them if I can get online.. I'm so pumped up I feel like going back to walmart.....but back to the mines again tommorow so better get some sleep......in my nightie!! :D

Karren,

Glad you are having a wonderful time. Walmart really is an amazing place, even at midnight, isn't it? We, my girls and I, lovingly and laughingly, refer to Walmart as our second home! Love to go and just look but almost always end up spending 50 to a hundrerd dollars. Mostly on food but we do buy some clothes there. Pitty though, the women's
pants start at a size 4 and I'm too small so I have to buy my jeans and dress pants at the mall. Prices are outrageous there!

Are you sure that was all coal dust? I heard that your co-workers thought you missed washing arround the eyes when they met you in the morning.:heehee:

I don't know how you put in those looong days.

My GG said to try the men's dept. The pants have much deeper pockets and lo-rise can fit the hips just right. She would rather use pockets than carry a purse.

Well, heading home.....sure am beat! And all of the guys on the underground tour looked like they had mascara and eye shadow on!! Just a hazard of the profession! Hehe.

Try crawling around in 34" of coal all day!! Sore knuckles and knees!! The mine manager said that they had a great safety record and I replied "I can believe that! You can't move fast enough crawling to injure yourself!". :). The 48" thick mine seemed like high coal compared to 34 , at least you can duck walk....and I've been in a 28" thick mine before... Not fun crawling on your belly!!

It all makes dressing up and going out in public enfemme so much more enjoyable knowing that hours before you were deep underground!!

I'm snuggled in the back of the company car headed North right now so I'm going to take a nap.....

Zzzzzzzzzzzzz

It sounds like you really had a great trip - if a bit fatiguing. Good for you!

I took a quick spin through your photo album just now. Your poses and appearances in your photos - while always quite good - have improved immensely in the last few months. You have a very fem presentation! Thanks for sharing :)

Karren, only you could make a trip to a Wal-mart and McDonald's sound more exciting than an Indiana Jones movie.

Wow, you are certainly a role model...or is it fashion model? I thought the first pictures with the brown boots were so cute, til I saw the second set with the print dress...you looked great in that! Oh the last set with the sweater was too cute too. Now I am a bit worried for you...the pictures in front of the soda machine..that was a salt mark and not a chalk outline...right?

Most 'guys' I know travel as light as they can on business. I would really love to see pics of the luggage Karren takes on her escapades. Boots, coats, many dresses, etc., plus en drab work clothes and casual clothes. Some load!!!

Funny you should mention that for when my coworkers poped the back on the vehicle we took, over half was filled with my lugage and mine gear... And they each had a mine gear bag and a duffle bag.. Told then I don't travel light!!

For the male side I took 2 pair of jeans, two tops, 2 tee shirts some undies and socks and some tennies.... All the rest was female. Lots and lots of female stuff!! Lol

Also found out for a coworker that Karren and a group coming back from late diner last night missed each other by 10 minutes... Close.....

I am waiting for the post where Karren runs into a co-worker, and he invites her to dinner or a few drinks, not knowing. THAT will be a real hoot!

Colleen is right, you live on the edge.

Was there ever a time when you were not so outgoing? If so, what made you change, because I want to take a bite of that apple

I've always been outgoing.....but being more outgoing enfemme is a learned trait for sure....and comes with experience and being very comfortable in either gender.... It's strange, but when I leave somewhere enfemme, it's so natural....no excitement....just feels right..feels the same as when I'm not dressed.

OMG - I would KILL to be able to make the comment that I was too small for a size four! I have dreams of making it from 12/14 to 10, or gasp, maybe an 8. Alas, I suspect I'd have to have a couple of ribs removed to get there and that's NOT gonna happen.

I am in field service and travel for a living. Typically I have 1 or 2 pairs of guy pants and shirts and the rest of my bulging suitcase is filled with dresses, shoes, makeup, etc!

Hi Karren....I love reading you're stories. I tune in every day like an old time radio show. You seem to be taking more and more chances of getting caught. I all most feel that you will feel like a great weight will be lifted from your shoulders when it happens. I think many of us are living through you and I believe many of us can't wait for you to get caught . We don't want to see anything bad happen. we just feel it will be great reading when it does. Then it's book time. It's like the climax of a great movie. You look great and seeing that smile in all you're pics keep us going. Hail Karren! Queen of the mines.

Very funny....hehe. Haven't been caught all these years and don't plan on it.....and who's going to catch me? My wife know's and even if I did bump into a coworker or two, they wouldn't even recognize me as Karren anyway!! So don't fret...or hope!! lol
