Fun with accessories

Went to Ross dress for less, great bargains, got this lovely scarf for 1.59,
if you look carefully, you can see pendant I got for 4.99 Earlier, went to a thrift store and got this new skirt. It isn't quite as dressy as what I usually wear. Wore it out to shop for accessories. The Mary Jane shoes with the white socks were perfect for the snowy weather.

Wow, looking great there Christine. Ross is opening a new store near me in a couple months, I can't wait. They seem to have great bargains. How is the quality of what they carry? I know a lot of clothing I've gotten from K-mart has come apart at the seams, and buttons seldom last more than a few wearings. Huggs, Bonnie

Looking good Christine. I have never shopped at Ross. I get most a mythings at Good will, sometimes I will go to Wall Mart orFred Myers. I haven't shopped for a while though and will probably have to go to Lane Bryants.

I imagine at the price the quality is a bit iffy. I was looking at a lovely skirt there for 15 buck, but it did not seem too well made. The accessories were something else though. I do most of my clothes shopping at Deseret thrift store, run by the Mormon church. Lots of Mormon girls still dress fairly conservatively but still prettily (before they get married) I've found all kinds of quality classic outfits there. Land's End, Mary Kay, of course Pykettes, I sometimes think they make half the frilly blouses sold. Some of the stuff is shoddy but if you look carefully can find some really nice stuff.
