Am I afraid of being outed? Lets see if I'm outed they might tell my SO. But I live alone so NO. They might tell my family. But Mom and sisters know that I CD so do my daughters. So NO reason to be afraid there. They may tell my neighbors. Don't talk to jerk on one side and the other speaks Spanish and woods in back. So NO worry there. They could tell my boss or work but being a good employee for years and it doesn't effect my performance and I don't dress at work so disruption in the work force. So NO problem with work. If it's someone at the mall they see a man in a dress so what I'll never see them again.

So I guess I'm going to go out more often from now on. Let the fun being.

Sounds well thought out and reasonable to me. Personally I don't care who knows anymore. I'm not ashamed of it in the slightest. Go Glenda! :cheer:

Glenda,

Sounds like you are out of excuses. I expect to see some stories and pictures like Karren's. Maybe some castles in the background like Florence's. And it's OK if they're White Castles. :D

Good for you dear! It sounds like you have figured out that being you doesn't mean the world will end. I think you are on the road to a happy life, good luck, and remember, fear is the mindkiller, you have nothing to fear but fear itself.

I think Glenda, Holly, Bethany and Colleen, among others should and MUST go into the world en femme as much as possible. Judging from the way you look in your avatars, you girls constitute a very positive image of CDs. Not all of us can, you know. At 6'2" and 280lb, I would make any dress look like a very bad joke and set our cause back another generation or two. This might sound a bit cowardly, but I'll support you from the closet, thanks.

well what is 'out' anyways?
just because you dont tell everybody you know dosnt mean your not out.
To me, you are closet only if you have a paranoia of anybody finding out. if your mom and sister knows, and you pay no regard to whether the neighbours clock you, then for me thats pretty much 'out'.
