Since I've been on this site, reading a lot of posts and responses, to which I've replied to some as well, I've begun to feel a lot better about myself.
:hugs:  :hugs:
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone here for helping me so much... I'll probably be out and about next month. Can't wait!
:hugs:  :hugs:
There are some newbe's here, and I hope that they can to begin to feel as good as I am now. Tomorrow will always be better!
And....l I hope that acceptance for all of us whether GG/TG/CD or whatever, will come to us all in the very near future.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all have a great life!
:hugs:  :hugs:

Hi Sandra, I've been calling you Marie. Yes, it is nice to be on the Forum and discuss things. I always say you have to accept yourself before anyone else can and it seems you are well on your way. Your confidence level seems to be way up. Just take your time and you will be okay. Those of us who are "old hands" at this didn't get there overnight and not with a lot of "mistakes" and compromises. Only you know how comfortable you are. It's nice to read experiences but you can't always take everything at "face value", despite how "easy" some of us seem to have it. We're people just like everyone else and have our own issues and problems besides crossdressing. You hear a lot about the "pink fog" a state we supposedly get in where we feel totally femme and get high on life and CDing in particular. You have to be careful of this as it's a two edged sword and can swipe you on the "backswing" if you are not careful. A few years back, I was so high up, I didn't want to come back down. It took a lot of work to get out of that to get where I am today. I'm not telling you not to enjoy yourself, rather to tread lightly and keep your wits about you, that's all. Just be yourself and you will be fine. We may get "rights" in the future and we might not. We just have to work with what we have for now and make the best of it. It's nice to know we are not alone though and have friends to talk to. I figure if you can put up with me, you can put up with anyone. Most of the things I post, I post for a reason and that reason is to get people to think about things. I'm no "leader" though, just a guy who likes to be a girl and have fun. I do care about my friends though and that's what it is all about for me. Ericka
