View Full Version : Enfemme 2007 What are your goals?

Sophia Rearen

A new year is upon us. What are your goals this year relating to cross dressing. Not the usual stuff to be broken like I want to lose X # of pounds, or I want to stop smoking. Those resolutions are typically forgotten very quickly. I'm asking about specific, attainable, and realistic goals. I met most of mine for 2006. It was a great year for being enfemme. I went shopping, to the casino, and checked into a resort enfemme. I did fall short on one specific goal and that was to do a museum enfemme, so I'll add that to the list again this year and put it at the top. Second goal, to sit at the MAC store for a makeover and find out first hand, what all the hub bub is all about. Third, have a glam day and let someone else take the pictures for a change.

So what have you done and where are you going?

You know the truth is I have no goals at all for my fem side, sad but so true, got so many things going on that just finding the time to be Tina will be a struggle, oh well:(

As I'm new to going public, my challange for 2007 is simpley to be able to go out enfemme and learn to relax and enjoy the adventure, and get comfortable about it as so many others seem to have done on this forum.
One step at a time.

My two goals for the next year is to start laser hair removal, and to start to come out to family. I am going to start with telling my older sister. I think she will be the most receptive, so I will start there.

I will be going to a local transformation service for the first time in February and yes I expect lot of pictures can be shared with everyone.

Second goal is loss of weight (about 50lbs)like so many others but I'm serious this time. We'll see after the year is over just how much I have lost

My goal in 2007 is to educate thousands of people about transgendered persons through television appearances, newspaper articles and public speaking engagements. Hopefully through education many in our society can come to understanding and acceptance of the millions of men and women in the US and worldwide who cross gender lines.

Happy New Year.

Thank you so much for posing (and posting) this question, Sophia! I accomplished a lot last--at least a lot more than I would ever have expected--, even though I did not explicitly set any goals. However, I think that setting some and achieving them would be very satisfying.
Last year (2006), I checked into and stayed overnight in a motel en femme. I went shopping at Macy's, Lane Bryant, and Dress Barn, and I had my measurements for bras taken by an SA at Lane Bryant. I also opened a charge account under my femme name at Lane Bryant.
In 2007, I have three main femme goals: first, I want to meet at least one other crossdresser in person--for coffee and conversation. Two, I want to go to a movie. Three, I want to stay at a motel for a weekend--check in, stay and use my room as a base for shopping, etc., and check out--all en femme.
I'm going to try hard to achieve these goals and take pictures or have pictures taken to document what I do.
Thank you again for asking!

My one goal is to get a makeover. Second is to meet new friends.

Hi girls!

My main girly aim for 2007 is to learn to apply my own make up. Bought a nice set a few weeks ago and will pro-actively spend as much time as possible perfecting a look for Sara....or at least trying to! lol

Pleased to say that my ultimum goal was achieved earlier this year when i did my first ever salon visit and shopping mall trip enfemme! However, i need to do that more often to boost my confidence. I'm also very pleased with myself that i feel very confident expressing my girly side whilst in drab mode too. Wearing more girly stuff in male mode (nothing that screams female though!) Have also come out to several girls at work who are fine with it.

There is another goal i wish to achieve, too. I've been driving enfemme for my club nights for well over a year now BUT i've never got out of my car to fill it up with petrol (gas) or to use the toilet (restroom) To be honest, i haven't had the need to but i'm going to come out of my comfort zone to build up my confidence.

Anyways, that's all from me for now!

Hugs from Sara xxx

That's great! Hope you can get on Oprah! That would give national exposure, maybe international! I don't know many GG's that don't watch her. Some men watch too.
Good luck!

Well...loose the holiday weight would be nice....check into a hotel enfemme on a business trip....ride the subway downtown and shop for the day returning on the subway....take a long enfemme bike ride on one of our rails-to-trails paths.... Buy a few new outfits (surprise!!), try to break my record of 2+ continuous days enfemme....

My only really true Femme goal is to continue to work with my wife to find a place that my CDing fits within our marriage.

A secondary Femme goal started out and still is a male goal to loose some weight to be more health. To hopefully push me along I bought a nice 3 piece outfit in a lovely purple color but is 2 sizes too small for me with matching shoes. I was going to hang this where I could see it for incentive, but have yet to do that... I may need to do that tonight.

Mine for 2007 is to find a specific look and identity for Kristen. I've been in a rut for several years and after listening to you ladies, there's a whole world out there to explore. You have helped open up new levels of shopping to me with your encouraging words and posts. And because of that I have found so many helpful sales associates. This has been the most fun I have ever had as Kristen. 2007 can only be better....

More real-world broad-daylight experiences such as

to do a museum enfemme
which should get done during the Chicago Be-All, lots of great places to go:happy: But the biggest goal is to work on the Voice and at least get close to what I want.

Lose some lard off the waist, 40lbs would be good. Then find the time to dress femme. Last two weeks before Christmas I didn't have time to stop and think, let alone dress.

Although not specifically a 2007 goal, it has long been a goal of mine to be more out, more open. Along those lines, in 2006, I came out to all of my neighbors to the point where I am now able to openly walk the dog as Michelle...I hope to continue on my quest to be true to myself in 2007 and beyond.

Go Shopping emfemme

Get a nice makeup lesson.

I just love being a special girl and would love to totally come out ...but it is very hard.

For me a big step will be going up to the make up artist and telling them it is me ... that wants to be a beautiful woman.

2006 was full of first but I won't bore everyone with the past!

In 2007 I too am planning on going to MAC for a makeover to see if their stuff is worth the price.

I hope to finish facial electrolysis so that I can just get up and put on make-up for the day (have already gotten to the point of only 1 shave a day).

I am going to work diligently on my voice. My wife says that is my only real weak point now. If working with the DVD and CD doesn't do it, then maybe a few coaching lessons. I would dearly love to get a beleivable and maybe even a little sexy voice by Summer!

I want to take a week long vacation totally en femme! The longest so far is 3 days. I would really like to go to NYC if possible and take in all the sights as a girl on the street.

The rest if the typical "work on my abs and waistline" type of thing. I've done well this year and it really helps me to be focused on the New Year.

Good luck to everyone else. May all your plans go well!

Love,

Sally

A few things, I suppose. Always want to improve. So better makeup skills, looks and the like and also to improve mannerisms, voice and those types of things. Voice is probably my biggest challenge. That means finding a voice coach with whom I can work on my bizarre schedule. I also keep thinking about electrolysis or laser for facial hair. That would really improve things and make doing makeup much easier.

A simpler goal is to work on my casual wardrobe. I don't have much for going out on a Saturday afternoon. The difficulty is that I abhor jeans -- who wants to wear the least-common-denominator uniform?

Warm regards,
Christina Nicole

No real special goal for 07. THis past year was a nice one. Started with New Years eve at a large straight party. Continued going out to dinner at straight restaurants. I did a mystery dinner theater with friends. Spent a weeks vacation enfemme with a cd friend. Continued finding bargains shopping and finding new, exciting stores. Over the past year or so, I have gotten very tired of the tranny bar scene. It was great at first as a place to go, but have found it is really not my bag.

Thanks again for your work Melanie!

For me, 2007 is a lot of mental health issues aimed at improving self-acceptance; And, I have lost 20 lbs and have 7 more to go. Then its Size 7 jeans as part of building up a wardrobe of F androgenous looking clothes to work into my daily wear . . . .

First time totally en femme (March).

First time truly out in public, not just to a tg meeting (shopping in Eureka Springs, November).

I had a pretty good 2006, I went out several times and enjoyed it. For 2007 I resolve to:
1, Lose weight. Yes, I know that has been my resolution since 1973 but I'm serious this time, last year I said I was serious but this year I'm serious, really.
2, Get out more. I enjoy going out en femme but do not do it as often as I could. There is a suppoort group nearby and I plan to go to some of their meetings.
3, Figure out how to post my potograph here, hopefully I won't scare too many of you when I post it.

Finally I challenge all of you to post later in the year the progress we have made in keeping our resolutions. To all that are making resolutions, be strong, good luck.

I don't have any hard and fast goals that must be achieved for 2007 but .....

1) I think I'd like to try to continue to develop my feminine side and become more feminine in a general sense, both when en femme and in boy mode.

2) I'd like to get better with makeup application. I already do my own but I'd like to improve.

3) I'd like to try to feminize my voice a little bit and learn to sound more like a woman.

4) I'd like to keep trying new things and develop my en femme look, this includes clothes, hair, and makeup....oh and also continuing my laser hair removal on my face and neck.

5) I'd like to become more confident when en femme in public, and perhaps go out more to "regular places" both with my wife, and on my own, as a woman my age might do.

This is what I would like, but I won't give myself a hard time if I don't get there, because after all, crossdressing is supposed to be fun not some competition or battle that has to be won.

During the last part of this year, I finally got up the nerve to go out shopping enfemme (twice!). In the new year, I'd like to do this enough to really get comfortable with it. This also means much more makeup practice, working on a femme voice, and setting aside time from work to do it!

By this time next year, I'd love to be able to say that I am comfortable going shopping enfemme whenever I feel the urge. :)

OK so I'm a GG and I don't have any enfemme goals, but I have goals just the same. The #1 thing I want to accomplish in 2007 is to be the absolute best person that I can be. If I could, I would have a better relationship with my ex SO who is a CDer. I love the whole CDing experience. Enjoy buying things such as panties, hose, clothes, jewelry, wigs and shoes, boots, purses, makeup, etc. I wish that I had someone I could do these things with on a consistent basis. So maybe one of my goals would be to meet a great guy who happens to Love CDing! Wish me luck!

My goal is to try to not buy much womens clothes anymore because I already have too much stuff! And weight is no problem here. But there's a bike race for my category in Chicago, and if the top prize is still $2500 I would train to win that race.

I have never tried a makeover, might consider it, but I think the only makeup I need is beard cover and lipstick. Might try nail polish.

I've already achieved going out in public and shopping in drag and passing.

I just want a better wig. And I'd really want my career to improve with a good paying permanent job.

My goals in no particular order:

1. Start laser hair removal on my beard.

2. Go to a CD event (First Event or Fantasia Fair) with my wife.

3. Attend TG support meetings completely enfemme.

4. Get a second piercing in each ear.

5. Go shopping in women's clothing store while enfemme.

All together that seems like a lot, but if I spread it out over 12 months it should be more managable.

My goal for the coming year is meet with some other girls for friendship, support and shop with( I need so many things). I am determined to get a n extreme female makeover, get pics taken so I can them to my profile. My big goal for the year is go out completely en femme at some TG event or party. I went out dressed for the first time in Vegas in 2006. I want to spend more time out and about and develop my walk and voice. I want to go to Diva Las Vegas, too, if my schedule allows it.

In order to be a bit more convincing, I need to lose about 40 lbs. I lost about 20 last year and am just going to keep doing what I've been doing. Slow and steady is the plan for 2007!

:OMG: .. even though what I know of you is only from your posts, you sound like such a lovely person to me. I can't believe you'll be in your current situation for very long. Good things happen to good people....as far as hooking up with a cder is concerned, I would have thought that they would be lining up at your door! :D

Mine is to go out with the other CD's and TG's to a club or Casino in Seattle!

It will happen too :)

Goal #2 is to take my boat out in my bikini next summer, go swimming etc - maybe catch a pic ....:)

And lastly, a B cup but that depends on what the doc says, otherwise it's A cup and I'm Ok with that.

Pretty simple goals...:)

2006 was a great start. I got enough courage to build, yet another wordrobe.
I found this forum, And i am trying to meet other CD's for the first time in my life. AS FOR 2007..... I need to shave the whole body. smooth legs would be a dream. I also need to build a real (everyday wordrobe). I have enough (little girl dresses, square dance dresess, petti coats & mini skirts) to last a life time. I need to go to the thrift shop and buy (nice blouses and skirts, classy dresses & basic women's stuff. Going out into public might be a 2008 thing.
(2007 Fantasy.....Meet a man).
XOXO Tiffany.

My goal is to be more sociable, at least online. I suppose I could start by trying to type more than one sentence.

Let's see.... Lose weight (HRT has been brutal in the weight department). Get going with laser/electrolysis. Go to DLV this year (I had to miss last year due to work).

I suppose I should frist become more patient with myslf and my family...

I'm sure all of you have dealt with things our kids and wives, not to mention ourselves have done, that afterwards just shouts "eat up with dumb a**"...I know I have pulled some real boners, not to mention my wife and teenage son...

Now for the biggie...I was chosen to be part of our corporate diversity counsel for 2007...while they stress such in all ways I will get into my 70's mode and become the radical self...ask the questions to my fellow members does diversity apply only to sex or skin color...I will make all attempts to make the point that CD/TS/Gay/Lesbians are labled and avoided because of their difference, much as how we treated and still do in some areas people who are different from us...

Perhaps then I can make a small dent in the corporate world for "our" acceptance...

Honestly, nothing huge like changing the world. I spent the past year working with my girlfriend so she's fine with me wearing panties under my guy clothes. This year, I'd like to work up to showing her my "wardrobe" and photos of me dressed. She's a good woman, and kind, but I don't want to push her.

My goal for 2007 is going out in public fully dressed during the day, maybe go shoping or something like that. Basically I don't want to be that scared any more if I someone see me.

My first, foremost, and primary goal for 2007 is to meet other CDers face to face. I don't know if I'm comfortable with Tri-Ess yet. But I have gone to a lovely CD friendly shop.
Other goals are to lose my beer belly so I can look good in a dress and improve on my make-up, feminine walk and mannerisms.
Next year, I hope to focus on my voice.

Hey, I love the journey as well as the destination.

This has been my femme resolution since I came out to me wife 7 yrs ago. To have her accept /tolerate it and to understand about my crossdressing and to join a local support group to meet others like me so I can have fun as my femme side.

<not responding to the post, but to Teresa...please forgive>

Teresa,

Personal message to you; I'd like to send it directly but it seems my account is too new to allow private messages or some such. Some help there would be appreciated...

Anyways, I think your avatar is excellent!

gonna try to go and see a psychologist, as that is the closest thing to a gender therapist we have here. as I often think about wanting to see about full time. and also getting some better outdoor pictures!! hopefully it will be nice this summer!! that is a start anyway!!
