Interesting experience I had yesterday, I went horseback riding with my ex and a young man that she knows. Well anyway had to go pick up Greg the young man's name and his horse do we could all ride near my house up in the mountains. When I was returning Greg and his horse back to his parents home his mother came out. After introducing ourselves we had a nice conversation her telling me that I was a nice woman for taking her son out. Things got interesting when I told her how yes I am a woman but I was born a male. She was like no way but you are just so feminine in everyway. Trying to explain to her about transitioning and such was a bit of a problem for someone not aware about people like us. One question she asked was what state did my wife and I get married in assuming that we had a same sex marraige. She, Greg's mother commented on how my hands are so woman like, similar to her own and she is a somewhat petite woman. All I can say is that it is very gratifying being read as female by a natal woman. :bighug:

That is so cool.
It is great that she didn't freak out or anything, but was able to accept the situation and relate to you as the person that you are. In the end, we can ask no more than that of anyone.

Made your day, I'm sure. How lovely. I'm convinced when we're on top of who we are - and that comes with enough experience to get the presentation refined - the world will treat us in kind. And kindly.

Good for ya!

My heart is warmed.
