View Full Version : Do you fancy yourself?
I'm sure someone has asked this question before but am I right in thinking we all try to dress in a way that we like our women to dress? I have to be honest like i've said before Nina's look comes from a girl that I was madly in love with but didn't even know I was alive. After one date lost intrest in me.
She had short hair in a bob and a beautiful big smile. This is the way I try to look as this is the sort of women I fancy. So if I met a real girl that looked and dressed like me as Nina I have to say yes i would fancy her. So the question here is do you try to look like the girl of your dreams or just go for a look that suits you?

Was once madly in love with a girl named Lori, I even had a favorite skirt which I called my "Lori" skirt, which looked alot like something she used to wear. I would sometimes imagine myself being Lori. I even used that femme name for a while.

Well...I'm sure that I did. As I get older, I find the need to re-invent myself now, however, to update the younger woman in me to a more mature, notice that I didn't say matronly but MATURE, woman. More and more I am looking at some of the women role models of my youth to see how they have updated their image and look as they have aged. So I would say that the latter is prolly where I am at at this stage of my life.:)
Good thought provoking question.

I don't think I ever thought about having a "role model"! However, now the questions posed, I would have to say it was my mother! When most young boys wanted to emulate their fathers I always was taken by my mothers "class and elegance" wanting to be just like her.
Now that I'm at the age that my mother was when I was young, I find myself dressing more in the fashion that she did! I always wear conservative business suits at work. Slip if dictated by dress or suit. Shoes no higher than a 3 3/4 heel. No pantyhose: always nylons with a garter belt or girdle. I'm a 40C so when I'm in public for the day I always wear a comfotable (but pretty) bra.
My mother has passed away, but I would hope that she would be proud of the image her "daughter" projects. BTW: I thought I was never caught dressing when I was a teenager, but decades later mom told me she always knew. She never told me why she never confronted me!

I always liked women who were comfortable with themselves and didn't feel a need to flaunt their physical assets (well, once in awhile is okay :) ). This is how I usually dress also -- comfortably -- sweaters and denim skirts or jeans.
But then there's that black skirt, sequin top, 6-inch heels.... :o

I would have to say that the ideal woman that I have in my mind is more like a woman of the past than a modern day woman. I just really love the way women dressed in the 40's and 50's. Something about the way that they were always so proper that made them so sexy. Plus the fact that women then were so real. It was not uncommon to see a woman that wore a 14 or 16. They were not like the models now that can't find clothes because they are so small that there isn't anything that fits them so they have to get stuff custom made. If I had to pick I would have to say someone like Jackie O, Marylin, or Betty Page. They just always seemed to be so sexy, proper, and natural all at the same time. And they were always so sure of themselves. I can only hope that one day I will be able to have that much confidence in who I am to be that way as well.

Not sure I fancy myself Nina,
But I certainly have been pleasantly surprised at how I turned out first time, I don't normally go for pale brunettes, though for Catherine Zeta Douglas I'd make a serious exception!!!!

Donna you said exactly what I was going to say, but I fancy myself as about 30 years younger than what I am when I get into the same clothes, Skirt above the knees a nice pair of panty hose and a very nice tight fitting blouse with the 3 or 4 inch spike heels to match I think I look better than I thought I would. :)

Great question Nina, I do not fancy myself as such or should I say as Sandra. But I do dress Sandra in a way a woman I would fancy dress. If you know what I am trying to say.
In other words, if I should see a woman who dressed like Sandra, then I would fancy her.

Sorry to hear that Nina, but she most likely got a bit fed up with you keep borrowing her cloths. :p
If only that was the case. I did my best to get into her clothes but she was having none of it.

I used to model myself after a girl I really liked in the past and even went by the same name. Unfortunately the relationship started out great but ended horribly, so I have mixed feelings about her. Due to ths I have had many internal conflicts, and I chose to break away from her. I'm now truely my own femme self (Vallari) and am glad I did it. It helped me a lot in dealing with some issues and am better for it.
BTW, I like Vallari better anyways... (Vallari is Hindi for "Goddess" ;) ) :D

Great question. I'd have to say that I do find Susan to have the look that I like in women. I'm not sure what came first, however, or if it all happened together. I do know that I like what I am when I am what I am.

I change my tastes every day... several times daily. Depends on the ladies I see - they all strike me different. I imagine, if I had the wardrobe, I'd dress like the ones I like the best - I do in my mind for sure. For me, I'd say yes.

I dress in what I think would look natural for a woman my age or build. I try for the classy , not flashy look. As for a role model I would say my wife but her style, taste is a bit different than mine.

No way I'd ever look like the girl of my dreams.
Mostly I go a look that suits and appeals to me, and meets the approval of my very well dressed and elegant wife.

Nina, I reckon this response will be either unpopular or unfathomable. It is my guess that being CD involves colossal narcissism. I do believe that we choose our identities based on women whom we have been rejected by. I bought my favorite wig because it so closely resembled the girl I most loved. I wanted to be her, since I could not possess her. She now has sex with many men and I seek to do the same. Forgive my transgressions, all of you, as I am only trying to speak the truth. I believe it requires a special state of consciousness to utter the truth, akin to the worship of the last of the Greek gods: Dionysius. When Dionysius made his first approach to Greece, emanating from India, He was met in the crossroads that led into Thebes by the king of Thebes, Pentheus, and the army assembled by Pentheus. The king was determined thatrthis new perversion would not be permitted to enter Thebes. The seer of Thebes stood close by the king's shoulder. His seer was Tiresius, the aged relic of an ancient wager between Hera and her mate, Zeus. Tiresius, when he was in his youth, was the most comely mortal on earth. Zeus was engaged in a deadly argument with his regal consort, Hera, regarding who took the greatest pleasure in sex: man or woman. Hera argued that man took the greatest pleasure and, conversely, Zeus felt that women took greater pleasure. They resovled to settle their wager by making the most attractive man on earth even more irresistable and giving him unlimited access to the most desirable pussy the earth could afford for a year. At the end of that year, they transformed Tiresius into the most beautiful girl the world had ever seen and gave her a sex drive to match. She then ****ed as many men as a year would allow. At the end of the second year, Tiresius was summoned to Mount Olympus to answer to the gods for his/her experience. Zeus had bet all that women had the greater pleasure in sex, and his wife Hera had placed the contrary bet. Tiresius knew that he could not win with any strategem. Any answer he gave would incur the wrath of either god or goddess. So, he resolved to tell the truth. When queried, he said, "In sex, Women have nine tenths of the pleasure." This so infuriated Hera that she condemned Tiresius to blindness. Zeus, loathe to countermand his wife, then promised Tiresius second sight in recompense for his honesty. Thus did Tiresius become the seer of Thebes. So it was that, decades later, when the new god Dionysus made his approach from India into Greece, the King Pentheus stood at the crossroads and meant to bar entry to the new god. He heard, however, over his shoulder, the cautioning words of his seer. Those words were, "It were best you received this new god and did not resist." Pentheus would have none of it, good republican that he was, and ordered his army to slaughter the celebrants of the new god who preceded him in the procession. They rose up, women drunken with the intoxicaion of the new god of drugs, alcohol and sex, and tore limb from limb the opposing army. Conquering all opposition, they proceeded into the heart of Thebes, slaying King Pentheus in the process. Since his invoplvement with Zeus and Hera decades ago, Tiresius had always dressed in women's clothes, allowing his prognostications to be dismissed as the rantings of a disturbed individual. Now it appeared that, however Tiresius chose to clad him/herself/ there was indeed second sight and wisdom in his/her observations. There is much illustrative elucidation I could append to this tale, and I do not know if any will grasp the ponit I have striven to make. I can only hope there are ones and twos among you who will find in this story something that resonates with you. Nina, I bought my favourite wig because it reminds me of the girl who crushed me. her name was Leslie, and I always refer to it as my Leslie wig. I want to be her, to have her access to boys, everyone wants her, boys and girls. Thus much is all I can accomplish.

When I see lots of women around I look at them and decide if that is how I would like to look. Must say there is a lot of nice ladies out there (and a few dodgy ones too). Sometimes the thought of looking like someone of seen gets me really horny thinking about being like them. I do get some good ideas for outfits this way. :)

Yeah exactly.

I use role models, but ultimately go for a look that suits me.
My two role models are my wife "Tracy" and my girl buddy "Blade". Tracy is more Talbots, "classics" and conservative. Blade is more "Lord and Taylor", more girly. I try to honour both women when I dress. but ultimately it is me whom I must satisfy. I don't care to pretend to be someone else.

I can't say I fancy Bonnie, but I am attracted to women she likes to appear as. No one person in particular, but those that dress in a conservative way, and sexy at the same time. Skirt just slightly on the short side, top cut just a little low, form fitting dresses. Not trashy, just a little bold and brassy I guess. Huggs to all, Bonnie.

Good question. I don't fancy myself dressed up any more than a GG fancies herself when she looks in the mirror. I just want to look good and follow fashion, even if that means wearing jeans etc. But then my CDing is more mental than physical, I think when I was a teenanger, I probably did fancy myself a bit and always bought sexy clothes. These days I buy mostly everyday clothes and I don't have a "look", its just a feminine version of me.

Not really, although i do watch what other girls wear and pick and choose styles that i like.
One girl in particular that i fell madly in love with in High school does have some influence on me. She sometimes wore long denim skirts and had a large shot punk necklace, and i happen to also want those. She might be going to my uni, and i'm hoping to meet up with her and finally have the courage to ask her out...
