Not by my wife. I told her long before we got engaged. My stash (at age 13, small as it was) was discovered by my mother. I didn't find out until I went to it and found it missing. Later that day, I got a severe lecture from my mother. Rather funny actually, because she skirted around the subject without coming right out and talking about my crossdressing. I think she felt like she had to say something to me. I just sat and listened. It didn't change anything, except I became more careful where I stashed things until I left home.

The thrill is even better when your SO knows the full story & can share your secret with you. If she thinks the panties are fine, she should be amenable to The Conversation. The longer you leave it, the more she'll be upset at you for deceiving her, even if she loves the CDing.

You don't want to dump a metaphorical ton of bricks on her head & overwhelm her, but you do need to tell her that its more than panties. You need to tell her that you like to CD, but by all means take it gently.

I was "caught" by my first wife and she was furious. My fault though for not telling her. Before my second wife and I became involved I told her up front. She thought I was joking but quickly found out otherwise. She's seen my in pantyhose and a couple of weeks ago she even made my year by allowing me to wear them while together in bed for lack of a better description. I had given up cross dressing for the upteenth time but low and behold the desire to dress overwhelmed me after many years of resisting. I was meticulous about covering my tracks but being human there is always the chance of overlooking something. I charged some shoes and wigs and my wife saw the credit card statement. She confronted me with the fact that I was buying these items for another woman. She was actually relieved when she found out they were for me. She made me prove they were for me by having me dress in full femme. She thought it was the most outlandish excuse or cover up I could come up with. Not until she saw me dressed from head to toe did she really accept the fact that the items were for my use.

It has been great ever since.

Well maybe I wanted to tell her. Problem is I am small--many of my wife's clothes fit me--and she has a closet full of great clothes. I got careless--and she came home 15 minutes early--i was wearing her black girdle, black slip and black bra, gold earrings, necklace--I barley had time to ditch the wig and dress as she came in the front door. WTF! She was very angry. Discarded all the clothes that I had been wearing. We had a short talk, but she refused to listen to details--still refuses to listen, 6 years later. Of course I do not have a wife (yet) so that explains the reason.

By the way, you might try upping the ante a bit and wearing either a pair of stockings or pantyhose with the panties. If she still does not mind, then add her bra to the mix and check her reaction. If she is still cool with it at each step, I cannot imagine she would mind you wearing her dresses or whatever in certain circumstances. But seeing you all dolled out might be too much at once for her. Take it slowly because a lot of women would not be as understanding as your wife was with wearing the panties even though we are supposed to be okay with them wearing our clothes. It unfortunately does not work both ways yet societally as we all know.

Just a thought...give your wife some credit; she's no dummy. She'll probably figure out your intentions and your secret. Going step by step may feel like the most comfortable thing for you to do, but your wife may realize your hiding.

Actually there was one time that my SO of the past 5 years did catch me that I almost forgot about. It was a dare by a couple of friends after one of them was dared to wear a 2-piece bathing suit and parade around the parking lot at the apt building my SO and I was staying at.
I laughed with the rest of them and told them the story about the time my first wife had dressed me up for Halloween. I had fun when that happened, but I didn't let on.
Well, someone had to dare me to dress up! I hate dares! I went back to the apt., got dressed and everything, took about 1-1/2 hours at that time.
I had a sleevless denim dress, light brown stockings and fixed my face up pretty good (I was a lot younger them), a pair of 2-1/2 inch pumps finished it off. When I walked out (I thought I was stunning), My SO came home... She was stunned as well as I had never been seen by anybody before.
Well let me tell you she was real mad at for about 3 days after that.
But, the re-action I got from the other guys was priceless. (Remember this was a dare and a joke to them). They joked and carried on about how I pulled it off sooo good... I was in heaven. I really couldn't let on just how much I liked it and immediately excused myself, showered, re-dressed endrab, and went on with the Quote/Unquote PARTY!
My SO, though, was really mad that I did it over a dare. Oh well, she understood later that a man has to do what a man has to do when there is a dare involved.
I really loved it, although I only was in front of them for about 15 minutes.

I've been caught once and almost caught a few times.

First time i was caught was by my mom. It must've been when I was in grade 8 or 9, I was dressed in her pink dress and for some reason I went out to talk to my mom, so I put on a pair of PJ bottoms and a sweater hoping it would cover up the dress underneath. Pantyhose (in the form of thicker tights) and heels were also originally men's attire as well, before they were women's attire.

Society changes, evolves, picks up new norms, loses older ones. I don't think it's the slightest bit fair that women can wear their man's clothes with impunity and a man is committing a great travesty if he is doing the reverse. Yet, we're supposed to accept that as "well that's just the way it is". Sigh.

Not that I would violate my wife's closet mind you; I just dislike the double standard.

She knew I liked women's clothes before we married. Neither she (or I) knew that there would be an escalation over time. There is an insecurity in most women that they don't want to be judged as the less feminine one or that our alter ego is out to replace them. I think that this is the toughest hurdle for our spouses to overcome. She hates that I dress but on the other side it is my way of destressing. Better in a dress or dead?
Our compromise, I don't wear her panties or hose and we buy different brands to keep them apart, does not like it that I wear panties, but most are cotton and just more comfortable. Bras (a few that fit) are mine or some of hers that she does not want anymore. Jeans all of the ones I wear are women's sized and even she admits that they fit better and has bought some that she's given me or we'll shop for them together. Other clothes, there are some that are untouchable, some are ok sometimes and others are ok with no permission. She's lost alot of weight and anything that is too big on her is fair game for me EXCEPT if it's too feminine. I'll only dress at home and not all the way, I can tell when not to push it and she can sometimes sense when I need to dress.

I was lazy one day and left some panties in my drawer; my wife was looking for a match for a single sock.

Guilt overwhelmed me and I confessed to her that she was married to a CD, a very closeted one.

My wife knows about my crossdressing since we were early married. I can not say she is "accepting" but not strictly dissaproving either (hope I use the correct words...) She thinks it is a "strange" habbit of mine and prefers not to talk about it. At least she is happy I am not a "gay", as she feared I could turn out to be when she first found out. She even accepts some times to make love with me in pantyhose and (rarely) fully dressed in lingerie. But she insists I do not use her pantyhose and underware. She does not want me to touch her intimate things and I think she's right. To be honest I wouldn't do it because her hosiery is not the sort I like most. You know "everyday" tights, 20-40 denier and not very "sexy" colors. On the other hand, my collection consists of expensive and very fine hosiery, so everyone wears his/her own things.
