...sorry....LOL The last wig thread helped me, (I know now, not to brush). But I still would like to know if there is any tricks to removing tangles, and snarles, ect. I have four wigs, all synthetic, and that has always been my problem. I have 'Henry Margu, revitalizing mist', for conditioning in between washings, and also 'Jon Renau, wig shampoo'. I was thinking of something that would make it easier to comb through the tangles. Thanks so much, girls. :)

Thank you Wendy, I will try that. I have a pick comb, and a wide tooth one that the wig store sold me. I though also, that there might be something that I could spray on the wig to help the comb slide through the tangles without causing damage.

Hi Linda
One of my friends here in the UK gave me a tip which might help you. Some time ago I had asked a similar question about washing my synthetic wigs. I had been using shampoo and had terrible trouble in restyling. My friend pointed out that the wig should be washed as it was a piece of clothing !!! To me this was a bit drastic especially when you consider how important the wig is to us girls. I tried it out on a cool delicate wash with regular washing powder - it worked; my wigs became easier care for. Brushing the style in whilst still just a little bit damp became easier too. Key watchword is be gentle and test the theory on an older wig first. I do this all the time now.
Hope this helps.

I find that misting the synthetic hair with water is all I need to get through the tangles.
