I've been thinking, how though some of us love getting all dolled up, I actually like wearing casual clothing en femme, and do ordinary stuff. Like watching TV. Okay, maybe it's a bit boring for some of you, but it feels good. I mean, I want Byllie to be an integral part of my life, and not a totally seperate entity; no Jeckyl and Hyde, thank you.

I have a similar approach.
(Almost) the best is sitting casual dressed in front of the TV, watching sports while knitting a baby jacket (it's true:heehee: ).

Count me in as a casual dresser. I don't own an evening gown, I see no point in getting all dressed up and sitting around the house. Now if I had a place to go dressed like that, it would be a different story.

I dress like every other woman my age dresses and I go out doing ordinary things; shopping, dining, going to movies, sight-seeing, etc. I feel the need to get out and be seen now when I'm dressed, and I always try to dress appropriately for my activities.

Nope. I want to be seen, and interact. I'll hang around the house in dress to experiment whether I like to do more domestic chores enfemme (present results are inconclusive), lord knows I'm next to useless in MaleWear. I will hang around to work on my makeup and clothing combinations. I haven't yet just dressed up and read a book or watched TV or cruised the Internet.

Roberta is definitely an :cheer: extrovert.

I'm with you Byllie, I spend a lot of time in casual comfy clothes. However, I try not to sacrifice pretty colors, that is something terribly missing in the drab attire.

I have a very, very large feminine wardrobe. It is full of bum around, casual, simi dressy and formal clothes. I wear them all appropriately. Same goes for shoes and jewelry. I have styled my wigs to appropriatness.
I probably spend too much time as Penny but a girl has to get her money's worth. lol

Count me in, Byillie. My stature also dictates what I can wear. I have a couple of skirts that I bought because they were long, but find they are not long enough still. I really love a pair of flair jeans with some embroidery and a loose top.

I'll wear jeans alot but this is a good frumpy middle-age look. Taken when there was some seasonal weather here, today is like spring outside:thumbsdn: No sweater today in the house.

Oh totally. I only ever get "dolled up" if I'm going out to dinner with cding friends at our Tri-Ess socials or when me and Marla regularly go out to dinner with another cding couple we know. I would say the majority of the the time when en femme I'm just in casual women's clothes doing casual things like reading, surfing, or watching TV or a movie.

Most of what I wear around the house is casual to dressy casual. But I wear a suit sometimes. It all depends on what I am doing around the house, and I am normally just in clothes, no makeup or wig. Some times I am doing maintenance or other house stuff, watching a movie with my wife, online or a mix of things. If I am going between the house and garage some I wear something that is easy to cover-up or do a quick change with. Going out what I wear depends on where I am going. Normally a skirt and nice top. My last two outing were jean skirts.
