Quick hello

I'm in my new place (swell) and have begun my new life (swell). Family and community have accepted my new name. I started electrolysis last week and shall do an hour a week; it's no birthday party, that, is it? Got my hair done with bangs - big improvement (photos at some point). My kids seem to handling the new living arrangement - it's really a lot like it's been since we got to California ... except less stress between mom & dad. My GP is dickering with hormones (disappointing!) but I found a FtM at Standford (famous professor) who suggested his endocrinologist, so back to my GP I go and now I'm waiting to see if my (ex-spouse's) insurance will accept his referral. Let's see, what else? Passing a lot, feeling great about stuff.

I'm only online for 30 minutes a day (library) for a while so posts and responses will be on the fly.

Wanted everyone to know I'm still here - and I still love ya all!

Don't you just love electrolysis! I go for 1 hour every other week, it's all I can afford, but it's progress. I've been at it for about 9 months now but only 21 hours total, I still have a ways to go. I'm glad you got started, for anyone who's serious about transition, electrolysis should be first priority, it's hard to pass with a 5 o'clock shadow.

Yes, a punishing amount of sylabels - sorry sorry sorry.

I took so long on the name because I didn't want to change it again (so kill me if I try). My electrolysist is Greek, with a heavy accent - hearing her say my name is heavenly!
