I am a straight bloke and have never cross dressed myself but just recently have felt the urge. Unfortunately I haven't got any opportunity or privacy to do this but have heard about a places here in the UK called Transformations, Pandora's and the Boudoir which offer a changeaway service. I know this obviously costs money but I would just like to know your views on this? I think this is the only way I could satisfy my urge. Obviously I would be pretty nervous about visiting such a place but I'd really love the to be dressed like an elegant/formal girl in a floor length gown, heels, hair and make. I also like dressy skirts and tops and scouring some on-line catalogues have picked out some styles I particularly like. I have even contemplated buying some of these!

Paul -

Not sure about the UK but in Denver they had a similar place to go and transform. They would even escort you on a short walk to a bar down the street to go have a couple of drinks. It was amazing

I've wanted to dress for a while but just recently the urge has got stronger. I like seeing girls in nice clothes (like the links I sent) and have always wondered what it must be like to dress as such.

I appreciate your taste in skirts and gowns !

I have heard mostly good things about these sorts of places, but not universally good. So I hope you can get a response from someone about the exact place you wish to go to.

Maybe they have a list of referrals?

Surely they would not give you referrals of 'bad' experiences, however you could learn about the positive experiences that are available. I am often as unsure and wary of the positive experiences I have not tried, which are more likely, than the negative ones that are less likely. After all, if they don't do right by their customers, they wouldn't last very long....

Good Luck !

Hi Paul and welcome. It's pretty okay to dress this way. You don't hear me complaining anyway. Ericka

Well there are shops all over the world that will transform you for a few hours and take a few photos!! And I guess if you've never crossdressed it might be a great place to take CDing for a test drive!! Hehe. For a handsome fee!!

But beware that it could and probably will accellerate or enhance the urge!! And you will have to deal with that.... So if your going to continue down that path be prepared to get creative and seek out time to be alone... May just be for an hour... Or two!!

What I'm getting at is that once you start you can't stop... Unless your a better man.... I mean woman... Than most of us here!! Lol

hi Paul
welcome to the forum, like Tamara what set your desire to dress as a woman. or more to the point why ?? please forgive me but i find this fascinating how a grown man with no history of cross dressing , now wants to dress up as a woman why what triggered this ?there has to be more than looking at pretty girls and wanting to be like them ... i just don't get it... yes i know look at me .

anyway the best by far is www.pandoradepledge.com , they are the best in the UK and as they are in London W5 area why not go out to the CD/ts night clubs while you are there ?. when pan is done with you , you will look like a gg . and you will have a good time
hugs Marissa

ps judeing by your links you have great taste's i like the outfits

If you're brave try a combination of gay bars, fetish clubs and tranny bars neither will care if you don't pass and it would be more sociable cheaper than going for a dressing service especially if you can find a bar/club where they'll be someone you know

hi paul,
there are literally hundreds of places in the uk offering tranny dressing services, ranging from the full salon experiance to the 'wife of cd' offering help from her home. A bit of googling should find what you looking for in your area.
i dont like transformation one little bit, i'd put them right at the bottom of my list.
such services are common for first experiances so dont worry about that.
a good one stop internet resource for uk trannies is 'uk angles'..again, google for the address as i dont know if links are allowed on here.

best of luck

I have not written in a long time, but I went for years not dressing up in ladies under wear, but in the last 5 year the desire came back in a strong way. I've been living streight for many year, then one night I had a dream about when I was a teen. I use to wear ladies under wear all the time then. I felt the same feeling in that dream as when I was a teen. I tried it again and all those wonderful feeling came back. I didn't know how much I missed it. When I go to buy something, I just tell them, if they ask, It's a present for my wife. No problem. Buy a box of candies and a pair of panties and some hosesand have some fun.

You sound a lot like me. I could never pass as a woman, so I limit my dressing in public to nice lacy lingerie worn under male clothes. I am lucky enough to have a wife who is somewhat accepting and seems to maybe be becoming more so. She allows me to wear whatever I want in the privacy of our home. This includes out and around our yard. Our nearest neighbor is nearly a quarter mile away and their view is blocked by woods. We both sat out on the deck last night in skirts and sweaters.

It won't hurt you to try going to one of those places you mentioned. It can be a little expensive, but as long as you aren't spending your children's milk money, make an appointment and go. I've been to a few of those types of places. They are fine for the beginning crossdresser who does not have any clothes, undergarments, makeup, etc.

Nice pictures you posted, but I think those ladies would slap your face if you tried to buy them.

Warm regards,
Christina Nicole

It is feeling unique to crossdreesers that may vary somewhat but most will say it life grabbing.

Paul, I did the "Transformation" visit for my first (and one and only so far) time fully en-femme. It wasn't cheap, but I had a great 4 hours. The choice of clothing wasn't brilliant for a "basic" visit, but the staff really put me at ease, there's no need to feel nervous at all. I got a new girl who was about 20, and we chatted away about clothes, make-up etc. as she laced me (very tightly by request) into my corset and asked me what I liked. After all, if they make your visit enjoyable, you're likely to go back! If I went again, which I might if my wife cannot find any way to accept any of this, I'd take my own clothes and let them concentrate on underwear, shoes, make-up and wig, unless you have those too! I spent the last hour trying on a whole range of other clothes, and finished up with a saucy little PVC French maid's dress with thigh high 5" heels!!!
