Have you ever tried women's deodorant and has it worked well? I just got women's Degree Ultra Clear from Walmart because I had a $1.50 off coupon and this deodorant says, "little black dress approved!"

I bought it because I thought it would go better with my big collection of womens dry clean clothes. And it smells womanly too! And probably it's clear so it won't stain my black dress...

Don't you think it's better to use this than a man's deodorant or am I wrong? What are your experiences?

I like the fragrances better than those designed for men. A marketing person I know has told me that women tend to wear anti-perspirant more than men do; men, she said, tend to choose deodorant rather than anti-perspirant. She also told me that the contents of these products are pretty much the same except for the fragrances.
All the same, I prefer women's deodorant and anti-perspirant.

And a slightly femmy version of Irish Spring soap. At first it was just some of the time, now it's most of the time. Don't need that Guy Smell on your nice clothes, do you? And unless it's really powerful no one will notice the rest of the time.

Best deos are the ones without an intense odor.
The basic ingrediants for men's and women's are certainly the same.
Other than that I am a bit picky with the odor. It has to be a good one. Doesn't matter if labeled men's or women's.
Men's deodorants smell often like a piece of rotten sandpaper, though, in particular the cheap ones ... not my taste

I have regulary used "womens" anti-perspirant for almost a year now, since I shave my pits I noticed at first that the "womens" didn't irritate as bad, since then it's just become a routine.I do like some of the fragances though

Been using Ban stick in baby powder scent since August. Along with Swave Herbal bath gel. I love the smells and the gel doesn't leave a residue in the tub like bar soap did. She made a comment to me about me wanting to smell nice. Nothing bad. Just don't think she would be very happy if I went to fem on the scents.:D

I have been using Degree ultra clear powder scent for about a year.
At first they had a powder scent and it didn't say womens on it.
When they changed it, my wife ask me if I still wanted it, I told her
I definitely want it now........lol
Also they sell it by two packs, so I get two at a time.

Even more than the smell, mostly because I use as many "unscented" products as possible, is the size. Men's deodorant sticks are these huge flat packages. My underarms aren't shaped like that ... they are small and curvy and, well, fem I guess. So when I tried the small curvy fem Dove deodorant of my wife's on a trip, I absolutely loved it. Now we each have our own. Actually, this isn't labeled "feminine" and the packaging is pretty neutral, so since PEOPLE come in all sizes, it's not clear why this should be thought of as fem ... just that both my wife and I use the same brand.

I mostly use women's deodorants. I shave my underarms every day and women's products seem to be a little gentler on freshly shaved underarms. I don't use anti-persperants since they all contain aluminum in some form. I don't think that is good for you. IMHO. I will use a men's deoderant if I have to mask a perfume odor and don't have time to shower.

I use women's deodorant after I shave my armpits because it irritates the freshly shaved skin far less than men's deodorant. Other days I use whatever comes to hand.

Iv'e been working for cosmetic companies for over 20 years and have always preferred women’s anti-perspirants, and knowing the formulations yes they are the same chemicals just PH is balanced differently.

That's what I've been using for years as well. Nobody has ever said I smelled womanly when I'm drab. But I do like the other scents as well.
Isn't that the one that's strong enough for a man, but made for a woman?

I always wear Secret Baby Powder scent invisible anti-perspirant and it works perfectly-- then I spray on Britney Spears Curious or Fantasy, or Paris Hilton's perfume, or Beyonce's True Star (not all at once, bear in mind!).

Because of allergies, I have to use unscented deodorant/anti-perspirant. This past summer, Secret finally came out with an unscented gel and I really like it. Works very well.

Next time you go deodorant shopping, look at the active ingredients. Basically all men's and women's deodorants have the same active ingredient. What you will also find is that concentration in women's is generally higher and in fact Secret Clear Gel has 19% --a full 3 to 4 % higher than the manly sports brands !!! My conclusion is that the women's brands provide more protection for same cost. A no brainier at that point.
