Hiya girls,
This is not a "DOWNER" thread.....(I hope)
I have read about you all having a wonderful time when dressed.
Excluding the drama of coming out to a loved one,
What are your worst moments while CDing?
For me, it has to be the lack of opportunity, and time scale when I can dress.

It can be difficult finding the oportunity to dress and staying dressed for any amount of time. :(
The only thing I can say is enjoy the time you can get or just stay dressed but your mates may notice you wearing a skirt.
Love

Not being able to fully dress as often as I did when I was single would probably be #1. I either don't find the time or take the time to do it more often.

Hi Cat,
For me the worst time is when I am looking in the mirror and taking off the makeup. After a day spent as a woman it is very depressing to be wiping it off and seeing the man face emerge.
Breaking a nail can be pretty traumatic too!

Amen to what you just said it is depressing, and damn breaking a nail is almost as bad, :) :o

Getting a run in a brand new pair of hose and finding out that I have gained a few pounds instead of loosing them.

You startled me a little with how poignantly you made this point, Mona. For me, it's not so much depressing, it's just that I get to be the physical Sherri for such brief periods I'm never ready to see her go.

Just never getting to go out anywhere, and having no one in RL to share this side of me with. Sometimes I wonder if it may ever happen. Gotta have hope though. ;)

Gotta be taking off the clothes and make-up. Relearning how to walk in flat shoes can be a little daunting, too. :)

I can't think of a worse moment, but I regret the many years when I refused to acknowledge how important CD'ing is to me.

Having to go to work (opps that 'w' word again :)), then I have to hide everything underneath other clothing - clothing that I don't like to wear - love everything that is 'lady like'... :)

Some of these aren't while your in CD, but...
Talking to a friend/workmate on the phone while dressed and knowing they'd have a very negative reaction to the way you're dressed.
Finding those heels pinch a little too much to walk in.
Having to hide your wig in the house and then find it gets tangles.
Finding that pair of pantyhose/one piece swimsuit/teddy you bought on ebay don't fit as well as you'd like because you're 6'3".
Having to buy non-creasing clothes so you can hide your clothes without them getting too messy.

But to the original question, I have just recently come out, and have only been out in public once, a Tri-ess chapter xmas party in Atlanta GA. It was a thrill of a lifetime, cause it was TERRIFYING!, which can be fun;) The worst moment for me "at that time", in hind sight it was no big deal was when my wife and I had to take an elevator from the parking garage up to the floor in the hotel where the party was. The 1st elevator was empty (whew) but it didn't take us where we needed to go, so we had to go back down and try again, only this time an older couple ambled aboard and wouldn't you know it, wanted to strike up a conversation with the "girls". I stood there frozen like a rabbit, figuring if I didn't move they wouldn't see me. I think I started to have a panic attack, tunnel vision the whole shebang :D . My wife was chatting away but not me which I think caught the mans attention and gave me a good look......bing! Anyway after we all got off the elevator the guy was laughing and telling his wife "that was a guy!" His wife apparently didn't notice, she replied "oh really? what about the little one?" (refering to my wife) he said "oh no, she was a women...hardeharhar" It didn't bother me to be laughed at, it bothered me that i froze. I just should have talked and been myself, I can't hide the fact at close range if someone notices, just gotta be up front, and I really don't care :p

For me it's not being able to share the expierence with someone, wheather it's just a friend or possibly my future boifriend. :o Also living in a place where you can't remotely do anything TG/CD related for 5 days a week and only being able to be yourself on weekends. :(
