i am a 36 year old male to female crossdresser and i can run in my 6 inch hells with platforms but my 8 inch with out i have trouble standing in them can some1 give me some advise

Yes, what kind of emergency is it? Who or what are you running from? Maybe you could take off the 8" heels. You could probably run faster then. I hope you get away. Do you have a cell phone? Could you call for help?

Welcome to the forums sonyinohio. You'll have to forgive us, we've had some people join in the past who were, shall we say, not here to laugh with us, if you know what I mean. (Oof, it looks like I'm turning into Captain Comma again.)

I don't know, 8" heels seem awfully high to be walking in on a regular basis. I guess I'd say take it slow and easy at first, just like when you try to get used to any height heels, but you may have to relegate those shoes to special occasions only. Sorry, I know this isn't much help, but I'm having a hard time imagining 8" heels.

Be it 2 inch or 8 inch heels none of them are for running...let me say this though, it will take some practice to learn to walk in them, I hope the calves of your legs are in good shape too...

Practice, practice, practice...then realize just how much a gg goes through to walk in heels...I for one have gained another prfound respect for all the girls who walk in heels...:notworthy:

I recommend standing running on the balls of your feet, never let the heels touch down. This means you must always sprint, and never jog. If the wind is whizzing past your ears you are going the right speed...oh....and never slow down by digging in your heels, they'll break. Just slow your steps, or slide while keeping your heels up!


I have boots with solid 3 inch heels, I enjoy running in these - they look sooooo cool!

I wouldn't run in a narrow, or spiked heel at all....one heavy or awkward step and I'd break them.

If you can't stand up in them now, you've got no chance dancing in them. You only have to slip and you could end up breaking both your ankles - no more dancing in any platforms again.

Stay with the 6" platforms or 4" no platforms.

8" are either ballet boots or have huge platforms, either way they have little to do with walking or running.

A lady "glides" in her heels. A lady "saunters" in her heels. A lady "struts" in her heels. But, a Lady never runs in her heels!

Last I checked there were no marathons available with emphasis on wearing 6 or 8 inch heels. Gosh, I would imagine that even The Ethiopians couldn't run in them!

So, I will assume that the reason for your running, is your belief that an attack is about to happen. Best bet, take off your heels and use one of them as a weapon. You are not an antelope! Running away in heels....not an option!

My goodness! Where would you even find eight-inch heels? Well, I have seen Mitzi Gaynor, one of my favorite actresses/dancers, dance modern dance with Fred Astaire with six-inch heels in the fifties musicals, so I guess you could. But you could also learn to break an ankle or as the actors/dancers say 'break a leg'. I agree with the others who said, "keep them in the bedroom!"

cmon do they really make 8 inch heels? Maybe you should video yourself running in them and put it on youtube Im sure alot of people would like to see a cd trying to run in 8 inch heels, including me. How tall are you? Probably over 6'5 huh?

These are the equivalent of a 3 to 3.5 inch heel. You have to take away the height of the platform.
