I have suffered from weak splitting nails for years. Was a real pain in my guitar playing as I play fingerstyle.
Now that I have entered the CD world, and taking a more feminine approach to life, my nails have become more important.
About 2 months ago I began to use products from Nail Tek. First, their Hydration Therapy Formulation II for weak nails. I followed the directions, and noticed my nails over time were thicker. When I removed the hardener after 5-6 days as they recommend, I could see the thickness.
This week I moved to using their Formulation I Maintenance Plus. Wow - this is really hard. My nails have never been this long, and I have dinged them several times, caught one on a zipper, and - nothing! you can use color over the clear if you like. This is a really good product, and if you have my weak nail problem, it might work for you, too.
