I read something in another thread about a magazine for crossdressers and TG's called Girl Talk Online. It's a downloadable magazine that appears new, and doesn't seem like the rather creepy mags they seem to carry in places like sex shops. Has anyone looked at this? I would like to give it a try, but I thought I'd ask first.

Hi Ana,I've looked up Girl Talk on The Net.I think they want $8-$10 to download it,and I'm kinda on a budget for now and can't swing it.I've thumbed through copies of it at a place that sells reefer paraphenalia and a lot of sex toys and porn stuff that is about 10 miles from where I live. But Girl Talk magazine is okay and well worth your while. There's lots of ads. And there's plenty of pictures of cd'rs modeling clothes and the mag seems to emphasize personality profiling of successful TG professionals,business- people,entertainers,etc..Yours,Samantha

To correct above: Download is $3.95 and the mag is pretty good. The problem for me is the format-I hate on line mags -PERIOD! However as some who is in the publishing biz (which is why I hate on line mags!) I will tell you that the savings is huge! Paper and printing along with shipping a high quality, glossy mag are very high. Aside from the difficulty in accessing the mag I guess the savings are worth it to most. The ads alone make this a worthwhile mag. Lots of sources for lots of stuff. Tryone issue-for under $4.00 how bad can it be?

My wife bought me 6 issues of this mag in full color print. And I prefer to read it that way. Would love to have a regular 12 month subscription. Not a huge fan of online mags.

I downloaded it a while ago. I thought that quality of the writing wasn't all that good. Reading it was not enjoyable.

I don't mind on-line publications, since I print them. I have a Xerox color laser printer that automatically duplexes. Mohawk and Hammermill sell glossy paper for color laser printers. The quality of the results is better than a printed magazine, as the paper is better, providing the on-line publisher created the graphics with enough detail. All of my important documents for my clients get printed on that paper with that printer. Good color laser printers are under a grand for what cost about five times as much just a couple of years ago.

Warm regards,
