I found this today. It looks like a start for fashion.

You beat me to it susancheerleader, I thought I was "ahead of the curve" on this one. I posted a comment about this in "the lounge" that I got off YAHOO.

Leggings for men :hmmm:

Wonder what I'd look like,  Ah, better not go there.

Nope, no start, just warming up old ideas.
I. e. Jean-Paul Gaultier designs more or less feminine men's wear since the mid 80's (skirts, dresses, tights and such). His style never had a noticeable impact on "mainstream fashion", though his women's fashion did.
I.e. fall 2006 http://men.style.com/fashion/collections/F2006MEN/complete/slideshow/JPGMEN?loop=0&event=&designer=JPGMEN&trend=&slideshowId=slideshow31149&iphoto=31&play=false&cnt=37
sometimes hard to decide M or F or MtF or FtM ? (the shoes will tell)

I guess what I was trying to say is that I had hope that the fashion industry was (is) taping into what is traditionaly womens cloths, but now adapted for men. If that is the case, then I was hoping that sociaty might at least slowly accept it. Thus give hope of acceptance.

Yes, and the more pics there are and the more fashion designers dare to, the better. But, because that has been tried many times during the last decades (four times a year by Gaultier; not the only one ), I have little hope that it will have noticable effect any time soon.

I actually like that men and women's clothing are so different. It really gives me a new world to transition into.

The idea of leggings for men in mainstream will largely be ignored. Publicly, men will have to become much more secure with themselves in order to accept a style with a recent feminine background such as leggings.

Not for me, I wouldn't know what to do. Should I tuck or add some padding?
