Got my first one from http://beautytrends.com They were very good and fast.

Click on their help icon to check their tips for styles, sizes and shapes.

As for a tip, I would suggest a visit to a local wig dealer.

There's nothing like trying on various styles and colors to see which suits you best.

If you buy on the net try to gget one close or a little lighter than your original hair color. make sure it has highlights also. Highlights are natural as a result of being in the sun. A solid color wig does not look natural.

Thanks for the advice DonnaT but that web site only ships to the US and I live in the UK.

My suggestion would be go to a shop and try on what they have. I went with my wife who got one recently. She had previously bought on a couple of years ago and the color match was perfect but somthing about the way it fit her wasn't right and she quit wearing it. This time we went to a local shop and she must have tried on about 20 before we found one that was perfect. I'm going to do the same when I go to get one. I guess one could by 2 or 3 from on line for the price of one at the shop but they don't do you any good if your not wearing.

Have fun! The ladys at the shop are professionals.

I suggest a bit of both. I always buy my wigs from a shop, but it is possible to save money buying them online. If you go on line and find some popular brands, you could go to a shop and see if they have any. I really like the personalized service I get at the shop at which I shop, but I can certainly understand wanting save some money, particularly if you want to buy a few of them. However, I have long been a fan of the theory that you get what you pay for. Good luck. I wish I could shop with you, as buying wigs is really rather fun.
