View Full Version : So Why All the Frustration???

Karren H

Just seems like a lot of us are frustrated.... The frustration threads are starting toi rival the panty threads!!! And maybe its the time of year and the weather? Don't know but what I do know..... Instead of getting frustrated with your situation... Do something about it...

Now I don't mean go out and get a divorce or anything drastic!! But you got to get creative... One it will help occupy your mind and B) when you find a solution that works you'll feel great!!

I don't get mad or angry or frustrated!! I get busy and come up with a work-around the current problem... Maybe it just me... (I am the only one I know changing genders in unisex restrooms) at least I've never bumped into anyone else!!! Hehe. So get out there and find an alternative way to do what we all love to do!!

You'll be happier you did!!

Karren it's winter the gray skies cold temps makes it hard to dress for some. As you said Spring is only a few months away. I know let's all go to a tanning salon for a tan to hide our bikini lines.

Just tried to be creative and messed up my knitting.
Couldn't find a solution except to start all over and feel REALLY FRUSTRATED !!!!!:Angry3:

Well Karen, not everyone can pull off what you do. But i like the idea, if life gives you lemons, make the best of it, lemonade. You always have such a positive attitude. I was told I'll never look any better than a 60 yr old broad, but a broad at least. As you say make the best of what you have...BJ

Winter blues? Sometimes its hard to get out of bed when you know the floor is cold and you don't have socks on and the bed is cozzy and warm. But, if you start small, one toe at a time your momentum builds and you get up and feel better about making some progress. I would use a portapotty if I could find one... :-) On the positive side, in cold weather you can cover over your clothing more so it is easier to leave the house almost fully dressed. The other advantage is that you can use your car without worry that many people will be watching or walking by, they are all inside keeping warm. So off to Value Village, find a coat and get out if you can.

Well, you're so right. It's winter and I'm frustrated. My nose keeps running and I can't find any heels to fit it!:frustrated:

My wife goes into hibernation in the winter.... for lack of sunlight... So what you need to do is go out and buy a set of those full spectrum flourecent light and a pretty sun dress... and just set there, with the sun dress on, and absorb all that light.... bet you feel chipper in no time!!!!

My boyfriend found a way to make him feel better outside of the house his solution is changing clothes in his truck on a deserted road or out of the way place. I only found these things out recently when we talked about his dressing. When i say talked i mean really talked about his inner feelings on his dressing and how it makes him feel.

Karren,

I guess I have to let you know I am adding myself to that long list of admirers you have that admire you for one reason or another.

I think sometimes you just do not "get" all the worries others go through. It just goes against your grain.

But are a most invaluable lady on this forum. I find myself many times saying to myself "she's right - there really is no time in life for this..."

By the way, just this last week, I made my way for the first time to some of the other sections of this site and your website as well. I love your videos and pics.

I've always wanted to ask you something. How do find the time to post and read all the forums and still dress and work and be a daddy? I know you are highly organized and thorough, but still - how do you do it?

I agree what comes up for me is the old " If you're not part of the solution you are part of the problem " So lets all start to rejoice in all the incredible experiences and feelings that work rather than the problems and the frustrations which often are so transient . Kudos to Karen who is such an inspiration to many of us Love Kahlan

I am one who posted one of the "Frustration" threads. After reading some of the advice here, I am working on my own "work-around". But, still, it helps to know that I am not the only one who is frustrated.

Thanks to everyone for helping me feel better about myself.

I'm with Karren on this...sure there are lost of reasons to get spooked about going out, or slipping into those awesome pumps right there in the aisle of the store (even if you're in drab), or wondering who might be driving by your mailbox just as you've gathered the courage to trot out there in your pretty, new, outfit, but having said that, this is the only life we get to have here on Terra Firma, so I say its OK to get a little bolder every time...it sure is a thrill, and we all know how great it feels to be dressed...(I promise you girls who haven't ventured out yet it really really is!) My GG and the kids are all out for the weekend (back later tonight) and I shopped for some mildy femme items -sweater and loafers to go with some flare legged jeans -all with the intention of going out last night. early in the evening, I began to get that creeping fear feeling, and for a little while considered not going out. Soon, I thought about how I'd be kicking myself for letting an opportunity like this go past me, I pulled my hair up, jumped into the outfit, and went to the club! It was fun, I got read everytime, but still enjoyed it!

Frustration is not uncommmon for us, but, its also up to us, as Karren suggested, to find that work-around! Its worth it! I'm certainly no 'pro', but I know what I enjoy doing and wearing, and I hope this encourages others to do the same!

Its a secret!! Lol. Actually I've gotten very good at multi-tasking... Doing more than one thing at a time ... Like right now, I'm tiling in the bathroom and also posting here on my Blackberry.. The blackberry allows me to continue all my online activities (crossdressers, my 360 page and yahoo messenger) all while I'm doing other things... Don't need to be near the computer...

And I plan things in advance, always looking for a new place to explore enfemme, or a good place to change! Hehe. I take half day vacations from work, usually mornings, dress and go out then back to work by 1pm usually for a meeting... Next week I have to work a college fair, volenteer work for my old college, and will try to append an enfemme excersion onto the end of it if I can....

So its just what I enjoy doing and making everything fit together is a chalenge but well worth the effort!!!

Well. Back to the tile!!! The cement is starting to harden!!! :)

Well, I agree Karren, but there are guys like myself that could never pass in the real world. I would love to be able to go out in the real world and dress the way I want, and I do get really frustated about it. I do have a group in my area where I can go to the meetings and dress as I please, But even that doesn't curve my urges to dress. I have many other things in my life that are frustrating and I am trying to do what I can to change them. But it seems to me that I will never be able to change them. Mainly my job. I am trying to find a job where I can make the money I am making now and be home everynight and weekend. It seem impossible. I am a man of many trades, and very high Mechanical knowledge. I would love to work from home, but that job just seems impossible to find.

Let's all go shopping girls. Even if it's just window shopping depending on the finance situation. It's cloudy here and rained last night but it's gomma be a shopping day for me just to take away the blues.

Well obviously the frustration is when you can't do anything about it, some can't you know, due to where they live, lack of funds, all sorts of reasons. At least here they have somewhere to vent it, I'm lucky, I could rejig my working week to give me a day off when I can do something about the frustration. The main problem is of course, that you always want more!!

I usually only post when I'm really frustrated... it's better than killing someone... :)

But I'm sorry for that, I'm trying to change the way I see this new world... It may take some time but I'm doing my best!

Just human nature...those that are frustrated are much more likely to vent. I understand some girls are tied down by cirmcumstances. But I admire girls like you Karren that overcome everthing in their way and just do it! I have some friends here in Atlanta that dress in their car on the way to the club or even in the Green Room that the drag queens use. Ya can't stop them either even though they have family issues or a wife that does not like them dressing.

Me I'm lucky...live alone in a big huge liberal city where ya can get away with being a Tgirl!!! I promise ya one thing...will never have a GF or wife that does not like my CDing again. And no freaking way am I moving from Atl...well maybe SF or NYC but I have learned that it really helps things to be in a diverse open town.

Al this is way too much a part of me and I'm having too much fun to stop.
