I had planned, for a long time, to have a Susan Day on Saturday. An entire day en femme. Shopping---- lunch----- all the fun stuff. Then out of the blue comes an announcement. I am a retiree of a major corporation, coming from a state far away from Arizona. (1250 miles) This company, like so many others is doing everything possible to reduce expenses-------much of it on the backs of their retirees. I feel I have to attend this meeting. I have been to several others and it is always a “go in and sit down” situation. No identification required. I’ve never seen a soul I know.

I was really depressed when I was faced with the prospect of missing my special day. Then I thought, “What would Karren do?” The answer was obvious. Attend the meeting en femme.:D That being decided I am now faced with the decision about what to wear. I could go in jeans, and blend in totally, or I could push the envelope, a little, and wear a broom skirt. With either outfit I will probably wear 3” heel shoe/boots and a white knit sweater. Any thoughts?

I would appreciate any comments the forum members will offer. I’m comfortable going out in public so that is not a big issue. I’ll give you a full report next week.

bi bi,

Susan

PS Thank you Karren Your an inspiration.

I woule go comfortable, if it's going to be a very long meeting, and at my age the broomskirt would be more comfortabe than a paor of jeans, unless the jeans fit loose.

Firstly... Your too sweet!! And secondly if you have fem jeans either burn them (wonder how many BTU's in a pair of jeans) or put them under you car to sop up that nasty oil leak!! Problem solved!! A real man would wear the skirt!!! Hehe

Love Karren

I voted for the skirt since you are comfortable going out, why not. Unless it's very cold where you have to go, then I would wear pants or slacks.

Be happy and comy, the Skirt of course. You would not want ambiguous jeans.

I too voted for the skirt, ya want to look good but not over dressed, just kind of a natural woman kind of thing. It's 76 degrees in FEB. I got up this morning to 13 here in TN. I will be in Palo Verde in May, June and July for a job, I guess this extra weight will just "melt" off then! haha Kaitlin
