respect

As many of us feel, we are not respected, and while I agree many are opposed to guys not wearing standard issue guy clothes, how about the times you are given respect for being yourself. The compliments I have recieved seemed genuin and I suspect there are people out there that respect us for having the strength to be ourselves. What are compliments you've recieved? Have there been times anyone has said, way to go for being yourself?

I was called a "hottie hot" by a couple of girls at a straight after-hours club in Detroit once...I'd consider that a major compliment. :)

Seriously, I've had a lot of people commend me for being myself. That's been a big boost to my self confidence.

I often get complimented on my dress sense. Several people have said I look better as a woman than a man, which I take as a compliment ;)
