In my younger days I would have said tennis. I loved watching Chris Evert and would have loved to wear some of her outfits back then! (oh them ruffled panties!);)

Now, I would join Holly mom there on the cheerleading squad....that would be a rush!

Never cared much for team sports. My sports have always been individual;
wrestling, shooting, weight lifting, fishing and hunting. But, I think I would have to vote for Tennis, love the outfits and did play when I was MUCH younger. Although, with the lovely ladies here, I would certainly like to try cheerleading.

Nah girlie sports aren't that great!....
I'm lying through my arse now :)

I play netball, in a propper netball kit. It's amazing.
We never had a game this weekend :( but we did get to practice in the week.

I've posted the story of how I got involved and vaious other bits and bobs.
Dig back through the archive.

The first time was out of this world, the second game was great, but some of the "novelty" wore off. Practice on Wenesday, I didn't even wear my practice kit, just shorts and T-shirt

It's great being one of the girls though, and yes, flashing the knickers (actually not knickers in my case it's part of the dress) is wonderful.

I'd love a skating outfit and a cheerleader one.... Also, don't think me weird here... I quite fancy the idea of jodpurs and boots for a nice spot of horse riding.... I've never been on a horse but the jodpurs make it worth thinking about

Swimming... I have a swim suit, slightly too small but it's better than not having one.

I have a pair of ladies cycling "hot pants" very short cycle shorts. These are a bit special, as well as normal ladies cycle shorts.

Is it me, or is female sportswera so much nicer than male sportswear?...
Saying that, it's the same for everyday clothes too.

For those of you wanting to get into netball for real, Google for mixed netball and see what comes back. There's tons of clubs in the UK, and a load more in Austrailia. It's not so big in the States, but I beleive that Canada plays netball.
Or just go into a sports shop and buy yourself a kit for whatever sports tickles your fancy :)

I'm not very athletic so I guess it would have to be softball. Maybe an outfit like they had the Georgia Peaches wear in "A League of Their Own".

I can ski but there's nothing very sexy to wear for that. At night in the lodge, though . . .

I was a cheerleader at an (all-male) college. We had the worst football team in the state so nobody ever went to the games, so nobody ever noticed how bad I was at it :p I just did it so I could get the sweater :D

Shopping, shopping and more shopping.

I'll join the rest of you shoppers for a team "shop till we drop" at any mall (or thrift store), any time.

Just think of the exercise we'll get. Lifting clothes of the racks, undressing/dressing, walking between stores, primping in front of the mirror, balancing on high heels, carrying the heavy bags, etc.

Hmm, I can't really think of anything. I usually don't like to wear anything girl when I'm doing anything like that, it's just too uncomfortable (god, I'm gonna get black-listed now:eek:;))

Maybe golf, I'd like to feel a skirt swish around when I'm walking through the woods trying to find my ball! Good practice for bending down like a girl when I set the ball on the tee - don't wanna distract the foursome behind me. Or do I?

I agree, with croquet, Laura, but how about participating in a very old fashioned, civilized game of croquet as a group of properly attired ante-bellum southern belles? I know, I love petticoats and corsets, but I know at least some members would really enjoy it - I know I would!

That sounds so wonderful Jadeanne, it would be so fun with an afternoon tea.

I do have to say I so enjoyed buying the pack of knee highs at Nordstrom and chatting with the sales associate about how they would go with my blue striped with white french cuffed and collared shirt matched with gray walk shorts and navy kiltie loafers. She thought it was avery cute sounding outfit. I was originally shopping for argyle knee highs but so fell in love with the outfit on the white knee high pack.

I noticed in the latest Spring Talbots catalog there are some casual outfits shown in a croquet setting.

I wouldn't pick a "girly" sport...

Because i love watching any womens sports that envolve tight fitting outfits or short skirts that every now and then you get to see their panties perhaps when they fall over. not that i like to see women fall over of course.
Also i am always wishing i was them too.
I'll name a few that i want to play and wear the outfits
Athletics love the tigh shorts and tops
Swimming love swimming costumes
gymnastics love wearing leotards
Hockey. wow
Cheerleading Really want a cheerleaders costume
Tennis but not happy with the new type long shorts under the skirts
Netball same as hockey wow
Mud wrestling. Now i'm getting dirty
Ice skatting. I don't think i need coment
Beach Volleyball. Can i play please

I'm sure there are loads more but i could go on and on.
I don't like seeing women playing sports dressed like men. eg golf, football or cricket. That's just rubbish. Women should play all sports wearing sexy gear. Or am i sexest? :D

Nina
02-13-2005, 01:52 PM

overcome me. :p I previously said that tennis was the one and only for me. I love those skirts so much!
But then, I considered how hot and sweaty the girls get and it took away some of the allure.
AND THEN, I watched some figure skating and wondered what I could have been thinking. Forget tennis! Figure skating is so romantic, graceful and fun, not to mention beautiful.
Of course, none of us are really considering how much work goes into getting good at any of these sports, but who cares? :p

Well, a tough thing for me. I'm not really into sports. However, if I did, I already have two womens water polo swim suits. They have a triathlon suit at this link:

If anyone watched it...on shortly after Superbowl each year...and is a actual football game. It is the only sport I knew that was played in lingerie, and is only once a year, but worth the wait.

In this case, I would even be willing to be the lowly equipment manager responsible for their uniform cleaning and repair...or team mascot.

Kiefer also has Triathlon gear at www.kiefer.com. A triathlon link is at the lsft frame.

There is a place on the other side of where Portland I live in Beaverton called JD Pence They have some awsome swimwear, but not the triatlon stuff. They have a site at http://jdpence.com/

Now you know my prefered swimwear sites...

A pic from the Swim Outlet site, they are "TYR Triathlon Workout Bikini" regularly $37.00 and now $33.95:

I only wish when i go out cycling i could go out dressed like that.

But i don't think i'd get away with it ;)

You've been a great help though

I was in school it was the swimming lesson at the local pool, I remember screaming inside because I wanted to be like the girls sleek, curvy and shinney in my speedo swimsuit. My own body left/leaves me cold, I so wanted to be like them and change into a school skirt and blouse and feel pretty and attractive.
