happy and content tonight

I looked in the mirror just now, before getting changed for bed, and saw me. I wore my total boy mode outfit today, tightest sports bra, boy pants, favorite button up shirt, all that. And I liked me. I was really happy with how I looked, not necessarily boy, but very much not girl.
Then I started taking off my clothes, and you know, that was okay too. Sure, I've got breasts, but I like them most of the time. I've also finally managed to gain some arm muscle, and I love my stomach.
Then I put on my pjs, and that really was me. Tall and rangy, with broad shoulders and bits of curves. Yes, I liked the clothed boy, and the unclothed girl, but the me in pjs, which really isn't boyish or girlish, that's who I see when I picture myself.
In honor of me liking myself, I'm going to be brave for the first time and post pics. Which also means totally losing my contentment and worrying about how I look, but hey, at least you guys will get a good laugh. First, as boyish as I tend to get, including the hat I never bother with but love anyway. Then, to totally ruin your image of me, as girlish as I get. You'll notice the total lack of makeup. My style = lazy. And yes I'm very nervous about this. Focus on the messy room and the gigantic periodic table in the background and just ignore me. AHHH scared. Going to press post now and stop obsessing over how dorky I look.

I've said it before, boy, or girl makes no difference as long as you are comfortable with you; that is what counts. Somehow I think you have that and it does make me happy for you. It is a nice place to be.

Poc: See, it comes from living my whole life noticing how size changes things. Go to the shoe store, find a pair of women's shoes which look cute. Get one in a five (my 'cute' friend Sara's size) and one in a twelve (my size). It's just not cute gigantified. I have one pair of shoes which manage cute at my scale. And if you honestly think I'm cute, you should look into some glasses.

I think it woudl be neat to see the computer stations of everyone so we get an idea of where you're at when you're here. (huh?) I'd start the thread but I need to take a new pic and I don't have time right now. Someday if no one else does.
