There may yet be some good news in this on going saga...My wife who now is a champion of the TG/Cd rights called me at work to tell me that while watching a Sunday new show, this subject came up. Seems that there have been several land mark cases in Ohio that were ruled on by Federal District judges in favor of transgenders.

A particular attorney has said he would handle this case also, evidently he also handled one of the cases in Ohio. Predicting the same results if a suit is necessary for her to keep her job in Fla.

Seems the light may yet be shining at the end of the tunnel...And I don't thing its a train either...

I personally amhoping and praying that this woman will keep her job and not be judged on physical aspects of the body...

In today's St Petersburrg Times newspaper, some clergy in the area are palnning a quiet protest tomorrow on the steps of Largo City Hall. They are protesting the "11th commandment", discrimination. A survey recently done of residents of the city of Largo and other surrounding cities shows that the majority are against the firing.
Some of the commissioners had an ax to grind against the manager. They didn't like how he manage the city - tough and even handed. Tough deceisions were made for the betterment of the city and they didn't like some of the decisions. Possibly some of their friends lost their jobs because they were not the best employees, who knows. This was their way out.
Unfortunately for the citizens of Largo, if a lawsuit is filed, it could cost them dearly - maybe they should remember this come election time

I've tried to look at it from others views from the articles that I've read and I can only come to one conclusion... Discrimination! Plain and simple.
