I use Hollisters adhesive on my forms when I attach them. (GREAT stuff) Is there anything better than those silly wipes to remove the adhesive? It seems like I go through half a box every time to clean my chest and the forms.:Angry3:

Hi,

Nothing that I've found. The Hollisters stuff is amazingly goopy, and very tough to clean. I finally got sick of the mess, smell, and hassle and bought a good set of attachables (Amoena Affinity) a few years ago. They're wonderful, so easy to use, and a great investment I feel. You can always use the ones you already have inside bras and stuff.

You can try "Goo -Gone". It's cheap, available about anywhere, some people have good luck with it.

But, don't leave it on your skin forever. It wasn't really intended for that.

Peace and Love, Joanie

Where can you buy the adhesive?

Janets' Closet in metro Dee-troit (they are on the 'net) sells both Hollisters and a remover which they sell in their own container. What it is I don't know but it works reasonably well. I find some residue remains on the forms after cleaning but that just means you don't have to apply quite so much the next time.

I got mine from www.exmed.net The adhesive and remover are listed separately in the website.

I got mine from glamourboutique.com(auburn,ma). You can get the spray adhesive nad liquid remover in a package. Works well.. Most of their items are resonably priced and if you call them, they are extremely helpful.

Have been to "Janet’s' Closet in metro Dee-troit"
Had a great time cant wait to go back!!
Have the spray and remover only used it 3-4 times works good. But it’s a pain to clean forms so...
A few old rags and fresh air you will need

Following the recent threads re breast forms, my fellow Aussie CDs may be interested in this mail order/web site who have self adhesive forms at the remarkably low price of $AU12.95
They have three sizes....A, B, & C cup.

Hi Amiad and Everyone Else,
I do not like Hollister because it does not hold over the course of a night. That is not to say that Hollister will work for you. I use Nu-Hope Adhesvie and it can be found here: http://www.nu-hope.com/xccess/add.html However, the question was what do I use to clean my chest and breast forms. I use De-Solv-it and it can be seen here: http://www.orange-sol.com/household/index.html It is a lot cheaper than the medical adhesive removers and it gets the back of my forms quite clean. It is much better than the cheap costume adhesive remover that Glamour Boutique sells. Again, this is what works for me and it may not work for you.

I have an ostomy and am familar with medical adhesives. Both Hollister and NuHope are good, I've used both. The wipes work well to remove the adhesive, Hollister also makes a spray remover which is good.
