I have been seeing alot of shows over the last 6 months that are showing TG's, CD's playing parts in them.
The latest , Ugly Betty , although she was played by a real woman, then there is now All My Children , todays episode showed a room with severl TG's haveing a support meeting.
an altho it was part of the cript, one of the girls said :
(not quite the way it was said, but how I heard it)
we hide our selves for our love for those around us instead of letting those around us love us for who we really are.
I think it says alot.
Anyhow I think our time will come sooner than later, the cat is being let out of the bag , now not to say that it will be 100% or even 80% eccepted
but if it starts becomeing the norm to be seen on TV more an more of us will step out,
most of us, from what I have read have SO's an would love for them to beable to accept us for who we are.
now what I am seeing is that the TV industry is targeting womens show,
so if women start seeing that we are out there an that just cause we dress up like women doesnt make us freaks an that we can still love an have feelings, maybe those that would have other wise walked away from a relationship with a CD might actually take the time to get to know him/her better.
an as far as other men go maybe more will be tolerable to us,
After Ellen De came out an told everyone on TV that she was gay (roughly 10yrs now?) now its the norm an is about 60 to 70 % accepted through out the States , Now that Tv is paving the way for us maybe it wont take as long But heres to hoping  :hugs:
