Big Date

Hi Girls;
Gotcha, the big date is with my therapist in the Cities followed by the Dr. & than hopefully if all goes well I can start taking hormones, so as you can see this really is a big date. This could be the day my life starts to turn into what it should have been years ago.
I thank all of you here & I will write when I get back from my appointments, mostlikely late in the day.

Hi all;
What aday, good news & bad all in one. The good news I am 3/4ths on my way. If a few extra blood tests come back ok I can start my "T" blockers the 3rd of may. Also everything else seems ok with one exception. Because of family history of heart trouble, I need to lose at least 20# before I can start a low dose of estrogen. The Dr. tells me this may not give me the results I would like but the dose could be changed if all goes well for a longer than normal test period. Still hope.

Also today was the first that my wife did anything with me. She had many tears & told of how hard this is. My therapist & I tryed(mostly me) to assure her that she is # 1 in my life. She told us she just needs time. Again its a wait & see.

Well, at least you have some incentive now to lose that weight, so it shouldn't be to hard. I'm so happy for you, you're such a good person who deserves good breaks. I've been on the mones for a couple of months now, and I can tell you that it's wonderful, you really have something to look forward to...you take care.

Yay, it sounds like the doctor is very caring and knowledgeable. Be sure you take his advice b/c you'll either be tempted or be told by other tgirls to up your dosage or take risks you would otherwise not take due to your doctor's advice. Stay with him and he will get you there hopefully. If not, you can try to find another doctor later.

As for your wife, mine is in the same boat. I know it's very hard for her. Tonight I noticed she was looking at my chest and trying to see if there was any development. I think she's really afraid of that right now. Yes, time is the key. A LOT of time for some wives. But she is a blessing to you if she's trying her best to be supportive. I'm glad to hear that you're not alone and you have her. Too many of us immediately lose our spouses. I don't ever want to have to face that day if at all possible.

Thanks all, I have set my goal to be ready the next time I go up so I have tons of work todo. I did get the rest of the tests sent up so the "T" blockers should be no problem. I will try to keep you all up to date. Thanks again.
