Reasons for cross dressing *just for fun* another thread got me thinking what reason can you come up with to justify your cding ?

1 . heels help stretch out my legs
2 . pantyhose help with tired legs
3 . skirts help keep me cool in the summertime
4 . bra helps keep my back straight and shoulders back
5 . tops er... fit better
6 . makeup has a SPF of 15 that helps with UV radiation *sunblock*
7 . mascara help make my eye lashes bigger. witch helps keep the sun out of my eyes
8 . and the wig keeps my head worm

i cant think of one for the nails so just for fun what would you come up with

Just an FYI - makeup has suncream in it, not sunblock - there's a huge difference ;)

how about a waist cincher makes me look thinner.
and nail polish makes the nails stronger, so they won't break.
Heels make me look taller
and a wig hides the fact that I am bald.

How about, Because I have the right to. Just as much as GG have a right to choose to what to wear, I have the same rights to! Sorry, it's my right!

Though if I do see a GG give me a second glance or odd stare I think to myself, "Remember that little equality stint you women went on, and still like to throw in peoples face, HOW DO YOU LIKE YOUR EQUALITY NOW :laughing: Oh? Here, here! I agree with everything you ladies have said. Ultimately, I guess I don't need reasons to do this. I just do it and enjoy it. But since it's 'just for fun' let me think of some. Let's see...
1. I have pretty hot legs when I'm wearing nylons and so...
2. ...it would be a shame for me to NOT wear a skirt!
3. Gloves protect my hands and help keep them soft.
4. Women's pants just fit me better. I have very womanly hips.
5. Heels make me taller! I can see over high stuff!
6. "Number six. There is no number six" (sorry, I had to throw in a random Monty Python's Flying Circus quote there).
7. Jewlery makes me look prettier in general and women's jewlery looks better than the boring men's stuff that's available. Men's watches, for example, just suck... I love my hot pink rocker watch!

Wow, I guess I could come up with a few reasons there, and some actually make sense too! Hot cha cha! But still, ladies, I agree with you - we don't need a reason to do this! We do it because it makes us feel GOOD! That's reason enough for me!

Here's one most of you can't use, or at least I hope not.
I can't wear long pants, so I have to wear skirts. As the brace they put on my broken knee cap, pants won't fit over it. So it's even shorts or skirts, and it's cool here. Denim skirts are warmer, along with a fuzzy sweater.:tongueout But MJ I do like a lot of your ideas. As the saying goes, a poor excuse is better than no excuse...BJ

0. My fingernails finally reach the ones I never could get to.
1. Taking makeup off with cold cream keeps my skin moist and young !
2. Wearing a dress to all those drag shows keeps the Gay Men from hitting up on me! (actually, it only slows them down a bit...hehe).
3. Tucking is safer, and less awkward than wearing a Cup.
4. I just wouldn't bathe (as often) if I didn't CrossDress!
5. Bob's fixation on Roberta is only 2nd Degree Narcissism.
6. Returning home in the wee hours, and surprising my (lukewarm to unsupportive) daughter who blurts out - you look good, you're getting good at this.......PRICELESS!
7. Being included in sisters' and sister-in-laws conversations and shopping trips....PRICELESS!
8. I get a near-real-life experience of the joys and mind-numbing-oppression of being a woman !
9. Finally found a way to get my Lesbian friends to flirt with me.
10. Damn, it makes me FEEL GOOD!

Just a few off the top of my head:

1. Nail polish prevents me from biting my nails
2. Long nails make me more aware of biting them, so it becomes lesss of a distracted habit
3. Wearing heels encourages proper posture, which will help avoid other health problems
4. Wearing heels helps to correct supination or overpronation ("walking on the insides or outsides of your feet")
5. Wearing makeup helps with my fine motor skills (which I have a little trouble with)
