As i look at all the pictures of all the girls here that look so fine,a guestion pops up,how much do we spend on fem clothes,me i don't think i spend enough,i usually buy at use clothing stores but I usually never find clothes i like or fit me for that matter.I can never really fine clothes that i like at dept stores,I guess you could say i'm a little pickly,ok i'm very pickly.I do spend a lot on bras, panty hose and panties.I buy so many matching bras and panties that i have my SO doing it now.

Let's see in the last year I've bought a total of 5 pairs of pants, a few shirts, and one sweatshirt, and one pair of shoes. I'd say I keep spending to a minimum. But I am trying to watch what I spend and keep an eye out for true sales.

Way too much!!! I've been in the KITCS syndrome for nine-plus years. What makes matters worse, it seems that my wife buys two outfits for every one tht I buy! Oh well . . .

An awful lot to be honest, but in my defence these are my everyday clothes.

How much do I $pend? More than I $hould. In fact MUCH more than I $hould.

Not that I have tons of clothes but I do have enough to last two weeks without any repeats, if I had the chance to spend a full two weeks completely dressed.

I don't spend a lot of money, and I always shop frugally. I always look for clearance items and sales, when I do spend a bit. With the $$ my wife spends on clothing, there's not much left for me! But, we are about the same size, and we share some items.

Place a Newportnews catalogue in front of me and watch my will power hit rock bottom. Shoes are another matter. My wife is crazy about shoes and is always looking for stores with a "Buy one and get one free" sales. Maybe it is a means to justify her purchase, but she tends to buy a pair only if I select the "get one free" half. Gee, what a horrible position to behold!:GD:

Do I spend too much on clothes? Absolutely yes, but it is a condition I have learned to endure.

Well between the clothes, 20 something pairs of shoes, make up, the occasional pedicure, and other MUST haves. Lets just say that the stock prices might fall a bit if I stop buying at certain places. :D

Do to spending so much money on fem items. I'm at the point now where I have to avoid even going near or looking at adverstisement for clothes stores. Although this does not help me much when shopping online. Jocelyn

Sometimes I think it's way too much, and other times it's not enough. I never seem to have enough clothes. I don't buy men's clothes anymore and maybe that's wrong. Even when I'm dressed as a guy, I'm dressed as a girl. I feel like a girl, no matter now I'm dressed.

Well, I guess that my spending is kind of normal. I never did do much clothes shopping for men's stuff. Mostly socks, t's and shorts, but now I have changed from the men's dept to the ladies. I like it that way.

I've ordered some dresses a few times through Victoria's secret and spent over $100 each time, but I haven't ordered anything so far this year.
However, I have been visiting the local thrift stores and have bought some nice clothes.
There was this one Goodwill store I went to a few times and I ended up buying a one piece yellowish beige dress, with a floral pattern, a pink two-piece suit skirt and top, 7 tops, and 3 skirts. All in all, I must've spent close to, or over, $100 for everying. Most of these items were less than $5.00, but the most expensive was the pink two-piece dress at $30 because they sold the skirt and the top separately. I really loved how it looked so got it anyway.

I went to another thrift store (Salvation Army) and bought a two nice looking skirts. One, I only paid 75 cents and the other I paid $2.50 and both were half off.

I also recently, went to my local Wal-mart and bought a matching skirt and top, and a white and green sweater top. The one you see in my avatar photo.
All of those totalled up to about $45 at Wal-mart.

I spend a bunch! cause..............I am worth it. Clothes,make-up,shoes,manicures,pedicures,laser treatments,boobs:heehee:.
I do however shop downtown where prices are almost if not quite wholesale.
And the great thing about shopping in the "fashion district",as it's called is that it's one stop shopping...clothes,shoes,make-up,sexy under things, wigs. If it has to do with a girl, you name it..you can get it there!
I didn't scrimp on my boobs or the laser treatments though.....didn't want to come out looking like i went to boobs r us.:heehee:

No I don't spend to much, most guys I know spend there money on golf clubs fishing gear, boats, and a lot of things that I could never spend that much on clothes, wigs and shoes, I couldn't store that much. So no I don't think I spend too much!
Not being into a lot of guy hobbies, leaves a lot of room for girl hobbies, such as shopping!

I have purchased probably half of my fem clothes at thrift stores, but even so, building two wardrobes is NOT cheap!

I'm a student so my available funds are in very short supply! By most peoples' standards I have spent very little but to me it is quite a bit. The course I'm doing requires all my holiday time working for nothing so I am continually poor! One more year and I will qualify and should hopefully have much more cash!

I have spent an awful lot at on women's clothes. But I think I maybe starting to slow down on my spending. I am now starting to focus in a different direction. I suppose I want to pass and have finally come to the conclusion that the clothes are always passable it is me who is not and no amount of clothes will change that. So now I am leaning more toward makeovers and that kind of thing. Ah the application of makeup. I do have a sneaking feeling makeovers and makeup is not going to be any cheaper than clothes. OH well

Jean and I went looking for a gown this weekend. It was a hard thing for me to do, due to the fact that I use a pair of crutches to get around! Shopping was such a pleasure before I broke my ankle. :Angry3: We did not find anything locally. This morning, Jean looked through some cataloges and found a gorgeous gold gown! It will be here Wednesday! Now I have to go shoe shopping! I haven't bought a pair since I broke my ankle.:( That has been over three weeks without a shoe fix! I plan on doing something about that real soon!
Love, Davida

Well, lets do the math. (I don't do this everyday). I had 30 winning bids on ebay,a few purchases outside ebay, and bought six items in Walmart. I spent over $400 in one weekend! Oh my!

Last July I started with nothing. And I mean nothing. Well there were the boat load of panties that I have been waring 24/7. But OMG I had nothing to support Joy in the fashion she deserved. So makeup, shoes, lingerie, wig, epliator and several nice outfits, set back my budget for the next six months. But it's all worth it, because Joy will be nicely dressed for the coming season. Thanks for asking.:D

Got my ears pierced 4 weeks ago can't take the original studs out for 2 more weeks and have already spent a hundred bucks on new earings, cant wait to wear them. Not to mention the 6 wigs in Paula's bedroom at the tune of a couple hundred a piece. I compare crossdressing with any other addiction, It's hard to explain but that drive that comes from down within sure can be expensive.

I spend way too much probably, but I'd spend it on something that I'd need even less or get less use out of than fem clothes and products. I usually spend about a quarter to three-quarters of my checks (when I'm going on a shopping binge) on buying stuff for my cross-dressing. Every cent is worth spending though!

I track all my spending with an accounting program, clothes, wigs, forms, travel to events and weekends away enfem, not counting the many dinners and nights out to the clubs dancing enfem last year my total was $6385.00. This does not count my newest outings enfem to Atlantic City where Kristen did come away a winner on the craps table after spending an hour holding the dice (hotest shooter on the table in more ways than one) under the eyes of everyone there. I made alot of people very happy that night, including myself.

I tend to shop the discount stores and thrift shops. A week ago, I stopped at a Dollar General for some paper goods and they had a table of bras that were discounted. I got a very nice Bobbie Brooks 40B for $1.25. I love the fit on this one. This past week, my wife and I stopped at a new Goodwill near us. While she was shopping for tops/pants, I checked out the lingerie section and found this really nice white, lace slip priced at $1.98. At the checkout, we got a discount which got me the slip for .89. Hard to beat deals like that.

A horrifying amount. But it's still cheaper than the therapy bills would be if I sought to deny this part of who I am...

Um...that was three words, wasn't it? Ah well, I'm a writer not a math major. I can count to...what's after '1'? 4? (JK obviously, I'm no dummy!) I guess my lack of math skills contribtues to how much I spend, which is by far too much.

Even though I don't currently have an income I've managed to outdo myself and spend nearly $200+ dollars in a couple of days...and because of this my credit card is nearly maxed. Ah well, I deserve it. I've been looking for a reason to put it away and I guess this is it.

But was my spending binge worthwhilet? Absolutely! I got makeup, breast forms, an elec-a-tric razor, and a whole bunch of femminine goodies to help me get guzzied up for my first big outing enfemme - which probably won't happen until I have money, since I'm broke. Oh well, I can be a home-body a teeny bit longer.

XDW Nathan-Natasha
04-01-2007, 10:29 PM
Okay, make that nearly $400+ dollars, as the breast forms were about $200 themselves. I told you I couldn't count! At least I can spel.

I'm a Shop-a-holic when it comes to female clothing. And my wife is not helping as she likes to see me into something different all the time. Just today: 4 new pair of shoes for Lulu! To give you an idea of my wardrobe and expenses; the total 2nd floor of our house is a walk-in closet. Clothes, shoes, bras and panties, make-up, earrings, and other accessories are countless. Am I too impulsive on feminin spending? May be.... Don't care.... 'cause I enjoy it!

To be honest, I spend two or three times more on clothes now than I used to. But then, I used to wear clothes until they became so filled with shame and self-loathing at their appearance that they threw themselves out.

I only have one wardrobe to keep up with, so that makes it easier. On average it's probably about $40 a month.

I have yet to shop for this side of myself this year. I have about 2 or 3 major shopping trips each year. My last excursion was in November and I think I spent about 200.00 in 2 days. I promised myself that I would get some guy clothes before I get myself anymore gals clothes, my closet is getting taken over by her things, so this week I am gonna make sure I get some guy clothes and next week, it is all about her again!

Well ya knowthats why girls eventually get married. A single gal on her own cannot afford to dress as she would like, so her salary and half of hubbies pay gets the job done.

Just kidding with the above. However I do wonder how they (GG's) do it. many make less than we do for the same work and have the expense of being a girl; makeup, hose, lingerie, clothes, shoes, jewelry, hair products, feminine items, decorations, perfume and nails, once a week. Are they all that good at finding bargains?

Check the stats on credit card debt and you see real quick that most are underwater to the tune of thousands if not tens of thousands.... After watching my sister get in soo deep only to declare backruptsy and trying to teach and direct my daughter into some kind of financial responsibility.... Its tough living on a single salary...

I would have to say not enough. It's not because I don't want to, but without a full-time job, I would feel guilty. When I do shop I usually watch for sales and usually get a good deal. I don't go overboard.
Besides, Dress Barn just sent an ad in the mail and my wife warned me that she did not want to see anything new on her side of the closet. Oh, well, I guess for a while I'll have nothing to wear (that's brand new and the latest fashion!)

Some of you need help from Kimberly.. she builds wardrobes... maybe she wil lhave enough timber to sort out some of you.
Seriously I have come to this thread late in theday and Ido agree with all of you.... I do not spend enough on Cashmere, I spend too much of Skirts and not enough on myself and absolutley nothing on my drab clothes... my wife does that for me...

I spend way to much I just bought a skirt and top tonight for $100 and they were on sale but it's for Easter. I buy all my cloths new but on sale like my wife showed me. I now have more women cloths than men. And I wear them almost everyday.

Lets put it this way - I think the department stores should take a tip from the auto dealers and accept trade-ins.
