Ok, so nearly all my life I've been wanting a french maid outfit... I finally broke down and spent $60 on what was a fairly decent costume:

I ordered it literally 2 days ago, and it's here a day early.. box is sitting on the front porch, my wife is at work early.. I'm ecstatic because it's here early! I rush inside, go through mail.. go through email.. check the usual websites I visit, and in the back of my head I'm thinking "wow.. I should be tearing off my clothes and trying it on", but I didn't.. then I realized "I've been waiting so long, I know once I put it on, it will be very thrilling (which it is), and I really want to savor the moment". So I finally put it on, feeling great.. I rush upstairs to get a few more things to finish the outfit off (trying to avoid mirrors so I can get the full effect). No makeup, but wig, stockings, corset, hosiery.. I step in front the mirror, and WOW! I'm kinda cute.. So anyway, I'm wondering if anyone else savors those things that they've yet to experience yet..
On a sidenote, feeling the frillly trim and puffy sleeves, this feels very girlish (as in little girl). I'm wondering if that's part of the thrill of wearing a french maid outfit?
