Question/ Request

Hi,

my name is Liz, and I have a sort of unusual request. I do a lot of education on transgender for universities and high schools. Right now I am in the midst of a 5 week/ 5 presentation flurry of activity. One of the things that I would love to be able to include in my presentations is a powerpoint picture slideshow of what transgender is. As a MtF crossdresser, I have a ton of MtF friends who have allowed me to use their pictures; however, I am rather limited in my access to FtM pictures. I really want to be able to present a balanced look at transgender and include an equal number of transmen in my presentation. Hey liz... that's a really cool idea.

I think it could be a good idea to contact some FtMs with personal websites too... because a lot of them have already transitioned and have loads of great experience they can share with you! :D

I'm guessing it would be good to have a whole range of levels of transition?

Yes, I am looking for all variations of transition in the FtM community. I have pictures of all ranges of transitions as well as "passability" in my MtF selections.

There's only 2 here on this site that I know of that are actually already on T.
That would be Cap and Durden. But Durden's not around much.
He does pass 100% of the time though!

I think it is a great idea. I think the general population's perception of crossdressers is based on television and news articles that show drag queens in Gay Pride parades, rather than "regular" crossdressers. (Hey, I think you drag queens are great, but it's just not me). If you think any of the photos of me are adequate, go ahead and use them. Maybe I will see myself on 60 Minutes or something!

Hay, that's grate news. I don't think we (as in FTMs) are genrally recognised as a group. As cherylsbro said, tou're 'regular everyday' people think transgender and think 'dragqueen' (specifically, mtf. nothing against you lovelly girls, you just overshado us a tad)

I think it's exelent you're trying to educate people on these matters, if there's anything elce you want imput about (say smipits of personal stories or examples of... stuff) just shout, k?
