Guys, I did it! I didn't tell someone I had 'gender issues' (my usual phrase, because it's vague and not technical), or completely ignore the issue, but instead actually came out. I met this guy while visiting UCIrvine and we've been emailing a lot. In my last email I was like "hey so since I'm in the LGBT community (he knows I'm bi) I don't have a clear perspective...what do you think/know about TG?" He said he's basically apathetic in the nice way about all LGBT issues - he doesn't care because it's not an issue. So in my reply I was brave and told him my whole story.
Of course, now I get to be nervous for a while, because it's usually a few days between replies. But yes, I told someone the whole truth!

Congratulations on having the courage to tell someone
I expect you will get a good respose from your friend to what you have told them, and suddenly it wont seem like such a big step after all.

Like most things in life, it is so nice to have someone with whom you can share it all with. That someone can be a friend, stranger, lover, wife or other family members. Great for you.

Way to go Bi! :^5: Let us know how it goes with his reply.
I wish I could tell someone else (besides Carol) my whole story. It must be a bit like opening the garden gate and moving out into the world.
Here, looks like all the brownies are gone, so I made some more. Mmmmmm, warm brownies fresh out of the oven. Help yourselves. :hugs:

Brownies? Rum? Of course not!
*whispers* I think Das might need a hearing aid. But if we don't say anything maybe we can keep the brownies and rum to ourselves.
